What I think: I have been using this spray after cleanser and before serums. It feels so refreshing on, and really softens my skin. It is an easy extra step in my skincare to keep my skin youthful.

What I think: I love the scent of this cleanser! It is softly floral. I apply it to a cotton pad and it removes all of my makeup. Plus, it leaves my skin clean and smooth.

What I think: This is a really fun product, I am a fan of oxygen treatments! I smooth this on and it instantly bubbles. I then rinse it off and my skin is so smooth and soft! The instructions say that you can just wipe it off, but it leaves a soapy residue, so I wash it off.

What I think: I have been using this serum on my chin, jawline and neck. I really think it helps firm, as I have seen a change in my jawline! Love it and will keep using it!

I am really loving this brand! I think it’s really affordable for the quality ingredients in these products. I am looking forward in trying more from this brand.

My Beauty Favorites — Week of July 18-24, 2016

This week I have been trying lots of great products sent to me for my honest review. There is amazing skin care, hair care and body care out there right now and I love discovering new products!

My faves this week include a hydrating toner, conditioning shampoo, luxe body lotions and amazing face masks:

No7 Beautiful Skin Refreshing Toner for Normal/Dry Skin ($8.99 USD) — Looking for a refresher from the heat? This toner cleanses the skin to leave it feelings radiant and reinvigorated. The product is formulated with a blend of rosehip oil and contains a blend of multivitamin and minerals to hydrate the skin. Gently remove makeup and cleanse the skin to leave it looking clear and healthy.

What I think: I like to keep this in the fridge. It keeps it cool and it is so refreshing at morning or night! It helps cleanse my skin and keeps it soft and hydrated. And it’s really affordable as well.

What I think: I like this shampoo a lot in the summer. It works as a shampoo and conditioner. My hair is soft and manageable and it looks great! I also love that it protects my color.

What I think: Both of these are such warm and clean scents. The texture of the lotion is creamy but not greasy. Perfect for summer hydration!

What I think: These masks are pretty amazing! I am a big fan of gel masks and these are some of the bests I have tried. The Anti-Gravity Lifting Face Mask is my favorite because it left my skin very smooth and helped lessen the appearance of pores and wrinkles. The Radiance Brightening Face Mask made my skin glow and the Intense Hydrating Face Mask is wonderful for dry skin.

My Beauty Favorites — Week of July 4-10, 2016

I’d say that in Missouri, we are in the dog days of summer! It is hot and humid. My skin is being abused by the heat and the dry air inside.

This week I’m loving deep cleansing skincare, a facial oil for damaged skin, and treatments for a sunburned bod. It’s so important to take care of your skin when the sun is so bright! My new faves are:

My Beauty Favorites — Week of June 27-July 3, 2016

Happy 4th of July! I hope you are having a great day! I decided to take a few minutes to write my favorites post from last week. A day late, but better late than never!

This week, I have been loving a luxe moisturizing cream, pedi products for smooth feet, and a device to help clear up breakouts!

ZO Skin Health Ommerse Renewal Crème ($102 USD) — A light, functional hydrator that targets dehydrated skin without leaving an oily residue. Helps restore hydration and repair the skin’s protective barrier. Promotes healthy skin repair. Calming and soothing and provides antioxidant protection.

What I think: This light cream is perfect for hydrating skin during warm weather. It sinks write into the skin and doesn’t irritate at all. My skin is soft and hydrated with daily use.

What I think: These products have really helped my rough feet! The Sonic Perfect Pedi is so cool. I use it in the shower to clean and remove dry skin from my feet. The cuticle nipper works really well to remove cuticles on hands and feet. The nail clipper is easy to hold and clip hard toenails.

Brand Review — derma e Natural Skincare

I was sent a wonderful package of derma e natural and organic skincare for my honest review.

Most of their products are 100% vegan, cruelty-free, paraben-free, sulfate-free, mineral oil-free, lanolin-free, gluten free, GMO-free. I love trying new natural, but effective skincare. And I am loving this line.

Some of my favorites items that I received are:

Purifying Gel Cleanser ($15.50 USD) — Lather away sweat, oil and toxin buildup for a clean, refreshed, glowing complexion with this refreshing detox cleanser. Doctor developed and clinically tested, this fragrance-free, sulfate-free and pH balanced formula contains some of the most powerful minerals and natural toxin fighters from the earth and from the sea. Ideal for oily, active or urban skin types, even safe for reactive skin (minimal ingredients and allergy-tested). I think it’s perfect for the summer. My skin gets oilier as the weather turns warmer and I need a good cleanser to really clean it without drying it out. I find this formula refreshes my skin and leaves it glowing!

Microdermabrasion Scrub ($32.50 USD) — Immediately improve the appearance of your skin using this gentle yet effective multi-award-winning Microdermabrasion Scrub. This salon-perfect formula uses an exclusive crystal blend including Dead Sea Salt and Volcanic Sand (rich in Silica) to buff away dull surface cells, help diminish the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and acne scars, and absorb excess skin oils. I love that this is gentle on my sensitive skin. After use, my skin is soft and smooth and not irritated at all. This is good to use a couple of times a week to keep skin clear and smooth.

Overnight Peel ($18.75 USD) — Reveal dramatically fresher, newer skin overnight with this skin-brightening blend of glycolic sugar cane and fruit acids. It contains 5% Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA) for safe, effective removal of dead surface skin cells. With every use, skin tone becomes more radiant, pigmentation is evened and age spots are visibly diminished. This is probably my favorite derma e product, and it is so affordable for what it does. I either apply it on clean skin or over any serum at night and in the morning my skin is fresh, even-toned and my pores appear smaller! Amazing! I use it every other night and it is non-irritating.

Purifying Youth Serum ($29.50 USD) — Shield skin against environmental and age damage, and revitalize a dull appearance with this concentrated, mineral-rich treatment formula.(exhaust fumes, cigarette smoke, heavy metals). Ideal for oily, active or urban skin types, even safe for reactive skin (minimal ingredients and allergy-tested), this formula protects and revives skin for a healthy, glowing, more youthful looking complexion. This light, cream serum sinks right into my skin. It gives a nice glow. I use it twice a day before moisturizer.

Firming DMAE Eye Lift ($24.95 USD) — Visibly lift, firm and tighten the delicate eye area while smoothing crow’s feet with this doctor-developed, multi-action eye treatment crème that contains advanced, clinically proven natural ingredients. A surge of cooling eye moisture helping leave skin soft, smooth, tone and rehydrated. With continued use, this pro-collagen and pro-elastin blend leaves the delicate eye area firmer, smoother and younger-looking.

One of my favorites is the body lotion. The ingredients include raw coconut, acai, dragon fruit, lavender and African cucumber. It’s so hydrating, but sinks right into my skin without feeling greasy. The bath bomb is fun to use before applying the lotion.

The shampoo and conditioner are sulfate free along with organic and natural. That’s important for me, because I color my hair. They also leave hair soft and silky, and smell amazing, too!

Get Your Skin Ready For Summer!

I love today’s skincare! Innovative new products are always one-upping the last one and I have to admit, the winner is my skin! I am getting in the upper 40’s and my skin is still smooth and fairly firm, and I don’t have wrinkles (yet).

Below are my current favorite skin care going into summer. They include a nourishing essence, restoring eye gel patches, an SPF moisturizer that brightens my skin and a deep, skin-plumping moisturizer.

Lancôme Énergie de Vie Pearly Lotion ($56 6.7 fl. oz, USD) — Pearly Lotion represents the refreshing step that revives skin in the morning. This surprising lotion is composed of a myriad of translucent and evanescent pearls of multiple sizes. On the skin, the nourishing feel of an oil is paired with the intense freshness of a water, for a splash of energy. Énergie de Vie captures a combination of two plant extracts – Lemon Balm and Goji Berry.

What I think: I have been using this in the morning after cleansing. It smells and feels so refreshing on! It instantly sinks into my skin and moisturizes. Some days, I use it instead of my morning serum. This is especially nice in the summer when it is hot and I want to use less products.

My Beauty Favorites — Week of May 22-29, 2016

Summer beauty is becoming so important as it is getting hot and humid in Kansas City. To me, this means a waterproof mascara (of course), bright nail polish and natural skin and hair care!

What I think: These products are all natural and so nice for the summer. The soap will be perfect for my oily summer skin. It balances and keeps skin clean without drying it out.

I use the macadamia oil on my body after shower. It locks in the moisture and keeps skin soft all day. The avocado oil is so nice as a scalp treatment, and can be used on the skin as well. All of these products are affordable, too!

Travel Beauty Products To Take on Vacation!

I am getting ready for a trip to Ireland with my family in a few weeks. As a beauty blogger, I have been trying to decide which wonderful travel-size products to take with me.

Below are some of my current favorites. I am excited to use these during my travels:

What I think: I love taking a little luxury with me when I travel. All three of these products are so useful on a trip. I only use day cream with SPF and the Absolue Premium Bx is also very hydrating. It also sinks right into the skin, which is important before applying makeup.

The Bi-Facil is a classic Lancôme favorite. Bringing this and some cotton pads will remove stubborn eye makeup. And the Définicils really lengthen and define the lashes.

Great to stick in your bag when going to the beach this summer.
