Barely There Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 (30.00 USD) is a foundation, sunscreen with UVA/UVB protection, and antioxidant moisturizer all in one. This product is hypoallergenic, water-resistant, suitable for all skin types and is oil, fragrance, and talc free.

I love the texture of this tinted moisturizer. It isn’t too thin, which is great because I do get great coverage and a very natural look. The finish is not too shiny, but I get a little glow when I wear it. Very fab spring and summer foundation!

Kerstin Florian Skincare

I love trying luxury skincare — it feels good to use quality products on my (slightly ☺) aging skin! A brand that’s new to me is Kerstin Florian. The website states,

“Kerstin Florian International (KFI) develops and manufactures a progressive range of European facial, body and bath products and treatments for the spa industry based on natural resources including thermal mineral water, mud, algae, herbal extracts and essential oils.”

I have been testing the following products for about a month. The end result, my skin is clearer, glowing and I look pretty darn young! The products are:

Serum C+ Infusion ($85.00 USD) — Claims that it:, “Accelerates the elimination of photodamage, evens out skin tone, moisturizes the skin and prevents signs of premature aging. A powerful antioxidant and healing ingredient, Vitamin C also promotes collagen production to increase elasticity and smoothness of the skin.” Paraben-free, oil-free, natural fragrance.

I love this serum. It smells fresh and citrusy and you only need two pumps to cover your face and neck. Once I apply it, my face looks instantly smoother and brighter. I like to apply it in the morning, before my sunscreen moisturizer (below).

Oil-Free Daily Defense SPF 50 ($55.00 USD) — “This oil-free moisturizing lotion delivers lightweight hydration and water-resistant defense against sun damage. Broad spectrum, non-whitening sunscreen is combined with pure Vitamin C and Co-Enzyme Q10 to provide powerful daily facial protection in a sheer, matte finish.” Paraben-free, oil-free, fragrance-free.

This is a great sunscreen moisturizer because even though it is SPF 50, it doesn’t leave a white residue on my face. Being oil-free, it is very sheer and light. I like to apply it to my face, neck and hands. I only have to wait a minute or two for it to soak in and I can apply my makeup.

Caviar Age-Defense Creme ($145.00 USD) — “Counteract the visible signs of aging with this exquisite deeply nourishing creme that combines Caviar Extract, Rose Flower Oil, Co-enzyme A and Chinese firming botanical Chai Hu to firm, brighten, refine and energize the skin. Protein rich caviar and anti-aging antioxidants create an accelerated firming action that diminishes fine lines and wrinkles, creating noticeably smoother, supple and youthful looking skin.”

I have been using this cream at night, although it is light enough to use in the morning. It quickly soaks into the skin, leaving a subtle glow. I used to have dry patches on my face, but they are gone and I think this cream is really helping. The only thing I don’t love is the scent, it is strongly herbal, but is fine for evening.

Caviar Eye Creme ($127.50 USD) — “Protein-rich caviar deeply nourishes, moisturizes and regenerates the delicate skin around the eyes. Diminishes dark circles under eyes with Caffeine and Green Tea Extract. Creates immediate and visible firming and toning benefits. Minimizes the appearance of fine lines and puffiness, brightening the under eye area for instant radiance.”

This gentle eye cream is so nice for morning and evening. I always place eye cream under my eye and on the brow bone. This cream leaves my eyes looking lighter and awake!
