I love to change personal and home scents for seasons, occasions and even moods. I find that the right fragrance can set the scene for romance, a cozy night in or even a fun night out on the town!

What I think: These candles make me think of Oregon, where I grew up! There aren’t as many evergreen trees in Missouri, so I love lighting these. They are especially perfect for cold winter nights.

What I think: I have tried this a few times, but due to my illness I am unable to use it full time. Happy new year! I try a lot of skincare, makeup, hair care etc. each year. I am now in my 5th year of my fabulous blog (coming up to my 1000th post! Giveaway coming sometime this month — stay tuned!). Sometimes, my face takes all of the different creams and cosmetics well, but I am broken out now. I know, could be post-holiday stress!
So looking towards 2014, I would like to keep it simple, with a few great new products and a fresh look. Here are some of the items that I’m trying this week. Here’s to a clear face, shiny hair and a soft, fresh look for 2014!

What I think: I have been using these nightly to remove my makeup and cleanse my skin. I love the fresh scent and they leave my skin clean, but not dried out.

What I think: This foundation feels so natural on! It gives light to medium coverage and I love that it is good for my skin! With twelve shades, its easy to get a great match.
beautyADDICTS Lip Addiction ($17 USD) — A luxurious, full-coverage high-shine lip glaze that provides intense, opulent color while nourishing lips with vitamins and plumping lips with peptides. Available in 8 shades as shown above.
What I think: I have this in Naked, the nude shade 4th from the left and the red called Hollywood. They are full coverage, and feel great on! Not sticky at all!
beautyAddicts GlimmerSHEERS ($28 USD) — Ultimate duo designed to highlight and luminize eyes, face and cheeks. Unique formulas in complementary shades: Glimmer – a soft focus luminizing luster for a sun-kissed, elegant sheen. Sheer – a crystal clear balm that hydrates and enhances glowing skin.
What I think: This is a cool product! I have it in Glow, which is a purplish hue. This makes a great eye shadow and I love to put the clear balm on the top of my cheeks for a little shine.
Sensai 38°C Mascara ($32 USD) — Sensai promises this mascara will resist tears of holiday laughter and watery eyes from gusty winds! The 38°Cstands for 38 degrees Celsius, as it’s the temperature of water required to melt the mascara off your lashes.
What I think: This is a great waterproof mascara! It stays on all day and is buildable so you can have a more natural look, or go glam with lots of volume! This has become my everyday mascara.
What I think: I put a few drops of this treatment in my damp hair before styling. It makes my hair so soft. Then I use a bit more on my dry hair to keep the flyaways down and to make it very shiny. Love!

What I think: I have tried other Meaningful Beauty products in the past and have really liked them, especially the cleanser! So, I was really excited to try this serum.
The serum is thick, and almost had the feel of a primer. When applied, it sinks right into my skin and leaves it feeling smooth and looking more even. I used it (all) for a few weeks and really like what it did to my skin, and was upset when it was empty! I feel that it made my fine lines less noticeable and my skin tone smooth and even. Great Product!
