We had a surprise snow last night. I knew it was going to be in the single digits today in temperature, but I didn’t know it was going to snow. I think I’m done with winter. I am definitely looking toward to spring!
To keep my skin soft this week I’m loving a hydrating face fluid, a body oil and moisturizing body lotion. I am also loving cooling body wipes (great for the gym) and a maximum hold hair spray.

Happy Labor Day! I am visiting my mom in Oregon, but I though I should put out my favorites post for last week. Better late than never!

Masks are such an interesting skincare step. I can go a couple of months without using one, then I remember them and boom!, instant complexion boost! They can help with anti-aging, acne, large pores, texture — so many issues can be helped in just a few minutes!

L’OCCITANE Divine Cream Mask
This fall, L’OCCITANE is pleased to introduce the NEW! Divine Cream Mask ($145 USD) — a cream-based mask with a rich, melting texture, accompanied by a special 24K gold-plated massage applicator. When the mask is used in tandem with the applicator, it is better absorbed into skin for firmer, smoother and more luminous results. What I think: I have just a received a sample of this mask and have tried it once. It has an herbals scent and is very rich and creamy on. To use it, I massage it into clean skin with the smooth side of the applicator, then I use the textured side of the applicator and move in circular movements all over the face to assist in boosting skin’s microcirculation. Then, I rub the rest of the product in and let it absorb
I like to apply this mask at night. By the next morning, my skin is so glowy! I am excited to use this twice a week with my regular skincare regimen.

What I think: I don’t have a lot of blemishes, but my skin has felt a bit clogged lately with all of the sunscreen and makeup I have worn this summer. So I applied this mask and left it on for about 10 minutes, because I do have sensitive skin. After use, my skin looked so clean and smooth. This is something that I can use once a week to keep my skin clear.
It is getting warmer in Kansas City and the pollen count is very high, which means I am in the middle of allergy season! Yuck! And although I can’t wear eye makeup for a while (red, itchy eyes) I still want to look as good as possible.

What I think: I love that this BB Cream is a combination of skincare and makeup. Not only does it cover imperfections it protects and treats my skin. It gives medium coverage and the fair color is a good match to my skin tone without being orangey.
