Hi All! Happy Sunday! I’m back with a skincare review. I love Derma E and am lucky to get sent some of their products to review from time to time.
I received these Derma E products in December, and have been enjoying using them. Here’s information about the products:
Skin Restore Advanced Peptides and Collagen Serum ($36.50 USD) — helps support skin’s need for moisture with Vitamin E, and highly effective antioxidants such as Vitamin C and Green Tea provide comprehensive anti-aging benefits. With ingredients that are thought to support collagen health, this is an amazing collagen and peptide serum to give glowing skin! I love using it at night with my other treatments. I find that it plumps my skin by morning and gives a youthful glow.
Skin Restore Advanced Peptide and Collagen Moisturizer($35 USD) — restores a more youthful appearance to skin by diminishing the look of lines and wrinkles. A highly advanced formulation packed with the peptides and collagen needed for healthy-looking skin makes this the best moisturizer for wrinkles. We use the powerful multi-peptides Matrixyl®synthe’6® and Argireline®, as well as Pycnogenol®, an amazing antioxidant that is thought to support healthy collagen, which is the protein essential for vibrant skin that has a wonderful smoothness and elasticity. This also includes Vitamin C and Green Tea for extra anti-aging antioxidants. Plus, it’s so hydrating without being greasy!
Beauty Sponge ($4.99 USD) — This multi-tasking beauty sponge is perfect for skincare and makeup application. This soft sponge works to blend creams, liquids, and serums for a flawless finish. Pair with a favorite serum, moisturizer or BB cream for effortlessly beautiful skin.
I am loving all of these products! I need the extra hydration and anti-aging properties in my skin right now. It’s get’s so dry in the winter, and that doesn’t help aging skin. But these lovely products do!
Have you tried Derma E? Which of their products do you love?
Hi all! It’s time for my first Shop my Stash of 2020!
I’m always excited to play with new (again to me) color cosmetics that I either haven’t used in a while or haven’t used much at all! My goal is to get more use out of the products I have and to see if they are something I want to keep.
This month I have chosen two palettes that I have barely used and a blush, bronzer and lipstick that I just purchased in the Black Friday sales. I usually don’t choose brand new (to me) products, but I really want to try these out.
Here are the palettes open:
So many pretty shades to play with! I have already used them today and loved playing with something I haven’t tried in a while.
Here are close ups of the products:
Makeup Revolution The Emily Edit The Wants Palette— I purchased this in June of 2019 (on sale at Ulta), and I haven’t used it since summer. Most of my palettes have less shades then this, so it’s a little intimidating when I open it. I used it today and I kept adding different colors of shimmer on my lid (Cupcake, Top Story, Eve Rose and Pizzaz). They do all work together, but I need to calm down and know that I can use some shades for other looks this month, lol! Do you have that problem with larger palettes?
Urban Decay On The Run palette in Detour — This is such a pretty little palette. And the blues definitely give me winter vibes. I received this from Urban Decay in 2019 and am exited to play with it. The formula is gorgeous.
Colourpop Pressed Powder Blush in Enchanted — This warm pink blush is so fresh and pretty on. It works so well with cool and warm looks. It’s a more matte blush, but that’s what I currently like.
Milani Silky Matte Bronzing Powder in 01 Sun Light — I also love matte bronzers. This one is new to me and very light. But, I can build it up and it’s so soft and natural on. This is perfect for the winter when I am more fair.
I wear lipgloss more than lipstick, but I have bought a few lipsticks last year that I need to use. This is the MAC Lipstick in the Cremesheen formula. The shade is Creme in Your Coffee— a creamy mid-tone pink brown. I love hydrating lip formulas and this one is very nice. I’m looking forward to using it!
Here are swatches of the bronzer, lipstick and blush.
———————————————————————————————————————————
I’m so exited for this month, and this year! I’m hoping to use more of my stash, and purchase less. I’m also doing a new series that I will be starting soon — I will be reviewing 20 of my palettes this year that I haven’t reviewed yet. And I might do a Project Pan. I’m still thinking about that.
Are you planning to use what you got this year — or is it spend, spend, spend (like I did last year)? LOL! Let me know!
Hi all! Madam Glam has released a festive holographic nail polish collection for December. They sent a few of the shades to me for my honest review.
Madam Glam offers Vegan, Cruelty-Free, 9-Free and Gluten-Free nail and gel polishes. They are easy to use and so long lasting when cured!
I received the four beautiful shades above — Candy Cane, Let it Snow, Holo Night and Mistletoe.
The shades are:
Candy Cane — Dark pink with gold sparkles
Let it Snow — Dark blue with gold sparkles
Holo Night — Shimmery gray with silver and gold sparkles
Mistletoe — Green with gold sparkles
Here’s wet swatches, I haven’t cured the nails. But this shows the pretty shades! There are 6 more shimmery shades in the collection. At the moment they are sold out, but hopefully there will be a restock.
Have you tried Madam Glam before? Do you like gel polish?

Cannabliss Organic Moisturizing Lotion + Revitalizing Serum Gift Set
While many CBD products on the market use cloned cannabis plants which weaken hemp oil’s consistency, Cannabliss Organic takes a “seed to face” approach. They only use certified organic plants grown from seed to harvest each year while using the entire plant to extract the oil. The end result is a highly concentrated form of CBD that provides anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties far more powerful than vitamins C and E. The brand takes their products one step further blending this full spectrum CBD oil with ancient Korean herbs to help the CBD absorb better. Cannabliss doesn’t use any water, chemicals or preservatives in their formulas. The brand uses an airless pump to keep liquids safe from oxidation and bacteria so your favorite skincare essential stays shelf stable. Rooted in everything natural, all products are packaged in eco-friendly PET plastic.
Moisturizing Lotion + Revitalizing Serum Gift Set ($185 USD) — Give glow! This Cannabliss Organic gift set, Beauty is Bliss, contains 50ml age-defying Moisturizing Face Lotion and 30ml Revitalizing Face Serum. Certified vegan. Gentle enough for all skin types.

Do you like to use natural products and/or give them as gifts? Which brands are your favorites?
Hi all! I’ve just received my second ever BoxyCharm Premium! This is a fairly new subscription from BoxyCharm. It’s a little more products than the regular and a little less than the BoxyLuxe. Here’s the details:
It’s $35 a month
6-7 beauty items a box
$175+ Value
You get to pick one of the items
The items will be different from BoxyCharm/BoxyLuxe – you can subscribe to both with no product overlap.
My total this month is — $197. This is a pretty good value for paying $35. It is over the $175 promised value.
The shades in this neutral palette are so pretty, but I don’t like the layout of it. I think nice looks can be created with it, but I think I’ll gift it to someone else. I have lots of neutral palettes and I’m sure a friend will be happy to get this for Christmas!
This is a fun little palette. I’ve never heard of this brand before (Basic Beauty). I have plenty of highlighters, and these look dark for my skin tone, so I was going to give it away. But when I opened it, the shade No Spraytan’s had a scratch that looks like someone’s nail got in it. So, there’s no way I would give this to someone else.
So I swatched it and the shades are gorgeous! I have used No Spraytan’s as a highlighter. It is a bit too dark, but it does look a glowy and pretty on.
Here are swatches:
See how stunning they are. I can actually use all three of these as eye shadows. And the texture (and look) is like Colourpop’s Super Shock shadows. I will be playing with these to see how I like them.
I don’t usually wear black eyeliner, but I may try this to tightline. I don’t know. I might pass it on. Not a thrilling item.
Three of the products are skincare. It’s so interesting because when I first started BoxyCharm a few years ago, it was only makeup. Now half of the products are skincare. I’m not sure how I feel about that yet.
My eyelids have been dry and flaky lately, so I’m happy to get the Laneige eye sleeping mask. And I have a small bottle of the Glow Recipe Pink Juice, so I am happy to have a full size one. I haven’t used it for long, but it seems like a nice moisturizer.
I’m going to give my daughter the Skinfix balm because she has Ezcema.
I am pretty happy with this month. I am giving away two products and will keep the rest! Nothing is super exciting to me, but I’ll use them and maybe I’ll find a new favorite.
Do you get BoxyCharm Premium? How was your box this month?
Hi all! The luxe hair tools brand FHI Heat has recently come out with their Rose Gold Collection. It’s so gorgeous. The collection is designed to deliver professional quality styles at an affordable price. Included in the collection are the Rose Gold Platform 1900 Pro Dryer, the Rose Gold Platform Titanium Iron 1”, the Rose Gold Mini Travel Dryer and the Rose Gold Mini Travel Iron 1”.
I was sent the FHI Heat® Rose Gold Platform Pro Dryer for my honest review:
Ultra-Light Weight dryer, utilizing high performing tourmaline ceramic technology, this dryer is the go-to and must-have for all hair types
Moisture-locking negative ions seal in moisture, repel humidity, reduce frizz and help eliminate static
Far-infrared heat dries hair from the inside out for healthier results.
Here’s a close up of the dryer:
It’s so pretty! But looks aren’t everything, and luckily this works amazing, too! I find that it dries my hair very quickly, and my hair is smooth and soft after drying.
So many dryers leave my hair brittle and frizzy. This doesn’t and gives me salon quality blow outs! The attachments are easy to use and help direct the airflow how you want it.
Hi All! I’m back with my November Shop My Stash results! I enjoy dipping into my collection and using products I haven’t used in a long time, or just haven’t given much of a chance.
My rule with this is if I don’t like the item after the month, I will move it out of my collection to make some room and let someone else enjoy it! You can check out my first Shop My Stash post for November.
I have been feeling much better this month, so I tried to wear makeup as much as possible in November.
I’m happy to say that I used all of these products a good amount.
I really enjoyed using the lip products. The Becca lip gloss is so creamy and hydrating. And, the color is a little out of my comfort zone, which is good. I usually wear nudes. The Profusion lip pencil is a perfect match for the gloss!
Here’s photos with the palettes open:
I really have enjoyed this (and all of these palettes) more than I thought I would. I used the Terracotta and Desert bronzer/contour almost every day! I used all of the shadows at least once. I think this is an essential neutral matte palette and I’ll be keeping it.
I wasn’t sure how I was going to like this palette. Most of the shadows are shimmers. But, I did test it out and I like it! It pairs really nicely with the tarte palette, or with another matte palette. But, it can also be used alone. One of the shimmers can be popped all over the lid. I’m not sure how much use I’ll get out of this, so if I don’t use it at least a few times in the next few months, I’m giving it away.
I really enjoy this highlighter formula! I’ve been mixing Santorini and Azores, and it makes a really pretty shade for my fair skintone. Ibiza is a nice blush topper for me. I’ll keep it for now and see if I use it often.
On to my empties:
I had a lot of empties this month! There are three lip balm/masks. My lips have been so dry. Most of these products are skincare, as usual! The makeup items are a face primer, mascara primer and mascara.
I have a backup of the Laneige mask, the Pixi Vitamin-C lotion and have a Kopari Lip Glossy on it’s way to me. I would also repurchase the Laneige lip balm in the tube. I am also using a full size of the Thrive Causemetics mascara. Thrive is now in some Ulta stores, so I’m happy that I can purchase it and get my points! Hopefully it will be online soon!
That was a successful Shop My Stash! I used everything and used up a lot of products! I’m ready to use some makeup and skincare in December! I’ll be posting my new Shop My Stash soon!
Hi all! I’m excited to share Morgan Taylor’s new collection. I was sent this for my honest review. It’s Champagne & Moonbeams for Holiday/Winter 2019. Silver, gold, reds, and nudes in metallics, cremes and glitters … you can change your look with every festive outfit!

From left to right From Dusk Til Dawn, A Starry Sight, A Kiss In The Dark, Gilded In Gold, See You In My Dreams and Copper Dream.
I didn’t receive the shade Dancing & Romancing, but it’s very pretty too!
I have been wearing some of these and will be giving others as gifts. These would make a gorgeous gift for the nail polish lover in your life!
Morgan Taylor has such a gorgeous formula. It is free of Formaldehyde, Toluene, and DBP, plus it’s so smooth to apply and looks gorgeous for days!
Have you tried Morgan Taylor Lacquer? Which shades do you have?
This is a bright and pretty palette. I can’t believe I got it in a Walmart box and it was basically free! I’ve never heard of this brand, but it looks really pretty.
I don’t know if these are shades I would reach for, so I will probably gift this to a friend this Christmas.
I was also happily surprised to see a full size lip product! I haven’t tried this yet, I don’t wear many liquid lips, but I might try the formula out. And I love the Jergens lotion, plus this is perfect travel size.
These are more like what I get in my Walmart boxes, masks and supplements. I won’t use the supplements, but either I will use the mask or I will gift it.
I am very impressed with this month’s Walmart Beauty Box! For $5 — what a great deal! I might continue reviewing these in the future, if they are fun and exciting.
Do you get Walmart Beauty Box each quarter? What did you get in your Fall box?
