Slay Grey is a shimmery grey. Very light and pretty! Knight Out is a metallic steel grey. Da New Black is sparkly black that reads like a very dark grey. All of these are really cool!

Kommado is a sparkling nude. Karamel is a warm nude shimmer. Kafe Latte is a rose gold chrome. I love all of these. They are really fresh for Spring!

Feeling Lucky?

Exotic Green is on the left (and underneath Feeling Lucky? on the right). It is sheer kind of like a jelly polish and took 3 coats to become opaque. On, it is so pretty. It would be nice as an every day color and would look cool with a matte top coat.

Feeling Lucky? is basically a clear top coat with green and white glitter with gold shamrocks. It looks great on, but takes a little practice to fish the shamrocks out.

Happy Ending

San Francisco

Both colors above are shimmers with two coats each. Happy Ending is a bright green shimmer. San Francisco is a darker color — perfect for St. Patrick’s Day.

I love doing my own nails. Since my nails are natural, they are not long or pointy or scary, but they do love color!

I give myself a manicure at least once a week. So I love to have lots of different polish brands and colors to change on a whim.

The colors above from left to right are Lazy Daze, Mercury in Retrograde, and No Tan Lines. They are all just one coat, and you can tell how great the coverage is. No Tan Lines is my new favorite neutral, and Mercury in Retrograde is gorgeous!

Nonie Creme Colour Prevails Nail Lacquer in Wine O’Clock ($8 USD) A glass of Pinot Noir provides an instant warming effect with one sip, and as it turns out, its nail color counterpart does the same in a swipe.

Mr. Big covers very well, and it’s hard to see, but it has subtle glitter in it. Wine O’clock is also gorgeous, but needs a few coats to become opaque. The handle on these make them very easy to apply, even with your weaker hand!

Happy New Year! It is a new year. I hope 2016 is starting off great for every one!

Do you follow the Pantone color of the year each year? I do! The fun thing about this is that we see the color (or colors) in makeup and other items all throughout the year.

My Beauty Favorites — Week of October 26-November 1, 2015

Happy Halloween! I am doing my weekly favorites post today, because tomorrow I start my holiday gift giving guides. I am very excited about all of the wonderful gift ideas I will be sharing with you!

But today, it’s about my favorite beauty products from this week. I am loving a combo nail top and base coat, an elegant soap-on-a-rope and two different, but amazing lip balms:

Lauren B. Dual Base Top Coat ($22 USD) — Lauren B. Beauty’s multi-tasking Dual Base/ Top Coat acts as both a primer and a sealant for your nails. My favorite colors in the collection are Yummy Yam and Leaf Peeper because they are new takes on Fall shades, but all of them are beautiful!

These are both gorgeous polishes, but they both seem a little summery for me. Luckily, there are many different shades to chose from in the collection, including different shades of red.

A Great Opera-tunity is a really nice cream. I think with three coats, it would have been perfect, but two work well. It is a sweet, light melon color.

Venice the Party? is beautiful! I love a good shimmer, and this one is a fun mermaid (turquoise) blue! Love!
