China Glaze Khrome Collection

China Glaze Khrome polishes for fall is a beautiful collection of opaque metallic nail polishes. There are 6 polishes in the collection. They are:

Sci-Fi — lavender-silver metallic

Robotika — plummy brown

2030 — warm gold

All of these colors are beautiful and long lasting. I applied Millennium and 2030 to my 5-year-old daughter’s nails and it stayed on for 4 or 5 days without chipping! I do recommend that nails are buffed first for maximum staying power, plus the chrome finish will be smoother. My favorites are Metallic Muse and Robotika. So different and pretty.

Sue Devitt Creates Exotically Beautiful Makeup

Australian makeup artist and cosmetic creator Sue Devitt’s personal mantra is “Beauty is an adventure”…with endless destinations. She is inspired by the natural beauty of the many exotic places that she has traveled such as India and Tanzania. Here cosmetics are exotic, but very wearable!

I really love the Sue Devitt Eye Intensifier Pencil ($22.00) This is a thick, smudgey pencil that glides on easily and makes a great smokey eye. The pencil can be drawn on with a thick line for high drama or smudged into a sexy, smoky look. There is a built-in smudger on the end of it that is tapered and can be used to soften the line of the pencil. I found that it lasted all day and stayed put. This great pencil is available in 13 shades.

I have also tried the E-Z Eye Roller Ball Eye Shadow ($18.00), a pure-pigmented roller ball shadow. It is unusual for a roller ball to go on with so much color — this is definitely not a delicate product: not for the shy! It is very shimmery and although it can be blended for day use, I highly recommend it for the evening. This shadow is available in 10 shades.

Bobbi Brown Rich Color Lip Gloss

Bobbi Brown Rich Color Lip Gloss ($20.00) is the newest addition to Bobbi’s lip color line. Bobbi says, “The colors are rich enough to make a statement, yet absolutely wearable — and the texture is amazing.”

Rich Color Lip Gloss is a mint flavored gloss that Bobbi’s website touts “offers the look and benefits of three products in one: the full color coverage of a lipstick, the soft shine of a gloss, and the luxurious feel of a balm.” I agree that you do get full coverage, shine and it feels like a minty balm, as it is a bit tingly on. The colors are soft and pretty, very nice.

The gloss is available in a range of eight shades: Naked, Ruby Red, Pink Raspberry, Merlot, Dusty Rose, Melon, Tutu, Pink Buff — there is a color for everyone.

Erno Laszlo Skin Care

Hungarian dermatologist Erno Laszlo created luxury skin care that’s purpose is to make skin look and feel better. I have tried a few products from the brand, and I really like the results I have received.

Antioxidant Complex for Eyes ($50.00 .5 oz) is a refreshing gel that contains botanical extracts to reduce puffiness so you look less tired, plus soothing skin conditioners to firm skin and improve elasticity. It also to “shield against age-vulnerable skin with ingredients that work synergistically to lighten dark circles, strengthen and protect skin.” I like to use this morning and night, but it can be used just once a day. I have noticed that my circles are lighter and the skin looks tighter under my eye.

I have also tried Timeless Body’s ($90.00 4 0z), a body serum. The ingredients, including marine and yeast extracts, are touted to “increase elasticity and prevent the breakdown of collagen so that body skin is less vulnerable to premature aging. Vitamins A, E and F, essential fatty acids and kojic acid diminish the appearance of wrinkles and age spots while firming and nourishing the skin.” I haven’t used this frequently, but when I have I’ve noticed that my skin looks smoother. I like to use a moisturizer on top, for maximum benefits.

My favorite of the three is the Hydra-Therapy Skin Vitality Treatment ($50.00 4 treatments). This is a deep moisturizing mask that soothes and moisturizes skin. It is This is a two step product. You mix a liquid into a powder. I find that it was hard to get totally smooth, but it still worked very well. After I applied it, waited 15 minutes and peeled it off, my skin was so smooth. What a fab, luxurious treatment.

It is touted to help skin that is irritated by a rash, cut or sunburn. It can be uses all over the body. It feels cooling and soothes after a tough day. I used it one day when I burned my finger on my stove, and it helped relieve the pain.

Cool Trend for Fall — Black Lipstick!

These classic socks are infused with Aloe and Vitamin E, which hydrates, repairs, and nurtures feet during the day and night. I found the socks to be very soft and soothing on. They do not have lotion on them, which was good, because I wouldn’t want gooey feet during the day. I have worn them out shopping and lounging and my feet are very smooth after a day of use. They are so nice — and affordable!
