Laura Mercier Metallic Crème Eye Colour
Laura Mercier’s 2014 Spring Colour Story is called Spring Renaissance. It provides all of the essentials for a flawless, youthful appearance.

What I think: I was lucky to test the Metallic Crème Eye Colour ($23 USD) It is a lightweight, non-greasy, lush metallic formula that floats across the eye leaving a gorgeous, shimmering sheen. I really love the shade Golden Mist. It is a limited edition shade that is so pretty swept across my whole eyelid, with our without a contour color.

Bobbi Brown Nude Glow Collection
Bobbi Brown’s Nude Glow Collection features three sets of products designed to add luminosity and brighten your look during the winter months.
In the above photo, you can see the Limited Eye Palettes in Crystal, Nude and Bronze and the Sheer Lip Color in Pink Flush, Pink Gold and Pink Rose. These are the products from the collection I tested.
What I think: The eye palettes are gorgeous. I love layering a sparkly color over a shimmer or matte. So pretty for going out. The Lip colors are sheer and pretty! I love the Pink Gold, but they are all gorgeous!

Tarte Cheek Stain in Fearless
Tarte’s spring collection is full of beautiful, fresh hues and products. There are eight beautiful shades of the cheek stain (Fearless, a pink-coral is my favorite) and eight matching shades in the Power Pigment lip crayon. The colors are all gorgeous!
The Spring collection also includes the be MATTEnificent colored clay eye & cheek palette. This includes fresh, pretty colors. I haven’t tried the palette, but I might have to pick it up!

What I think: I have tried the Smoke Mirrors Grey Palette. It’s really pigmented. The two lightest colors work well for days, but all four shades can be layered and wet for a high-shine evening smoky eye!

What I think: I love the length and fullness that this mascara gave me. My lashes looked amazing! The only problem is, at the end of the day I had raccoon eyes. Which is sad! But, if you don’t mind that, this is a great mascara!

Laura Mercier Honey Bath ($40 USD) — This decadent, foaming honey moisture body bath leaves skin feeling clean, fresh and supple. Available in five delectable fragrances: Almond Coconut Milk, Crème Brûlée, Ambre Vanillé, Crème de Pistache and Fresh Fig.
What I think: I have this in Fresh Fig. It smells fantastic and gives lots of foamy bubbles. And the jar is so cute! This is well worth the splurge. I want to try all of the scents.
Nyakio Kenyan Coffee Body Scrub ($55 USD) — This scrub blends naturally energizing and exfoliating Kenyan Coffee with Sugar to remove dull skin while providing antioxidant benefits. With Mongongo Nut Oil, Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil, Grape Seed Oil and Avocado Oil, this unique fusion leaves all skin moisturized, smooth and soft.
What I think: This is a wonderful scrub! I used it on the back of one hand and had to do the other right away to make them even — the first one was visibly smoother! And the scent is vaguely coffee-ish, but it’s not too strong.
H2O Plus Spa Sea Lotus Body Wash ($17 USD) — This exhilarating body wash renews the skin and deeply nourishes with essential vitamins and minerals. Sea sourced water lotus and bamboo extract provide long-term moisture and stimulate the regeneration of healthy skin while mineral-rich brown and red algae blend are combined with aloe and vitamin E to soothe and nourish the skin. Skin is left lightly scented with the refreshing aquatic floral scent. Try it in a morning shower for an invigorating awakening.
What I think: I love H2O+’s scents — and this new sea lotus fragrance is no exception. It is a great spa scent, with a little bit of floral scent added. It also comes in a body scrub ($20 SUD) and a lotion ($21 USD) so you can layer the scent.

We gals take our beauty routines very seriously. Let’s face it, there is always a new product, trend, or regimen we “need” to try. It’s time to simplify our a.m. routines and make them as painless as possible. First step: take the “ouch” out of hair removal. What I think — this is so moisturizing on my dry, fall skin! My legs have been so dry since the weather turned cold. This keeps them soft all day long!

What I think: I have lots of BB, CC and even a DD liquid foundation, but this is my first CC crème contact. I am testing this in light, and really enjoy it for a full coverage look. I apply this with my BeautyBlender and it goes on perfectly. So smooth and pretty, it really evens out my skin tone.

What I think: Black smoky eyes are hot again this fall. This shadow has a little sparkle in it and is perfect for a night out. Really great color payoff as well.

What I think: I have always been a fan on Laura Geller’s pencil eyeliners. I have been using this in Purple Rain. It is a gorgeous shimmering shade of purple. This is a very soft pencil, so make sure that you don’t press too hard (like I did). You could lose the point. But, it does last all day and all shades are gorgeous for fall!

What I think: This is currently my favorite mascara. What I think: I have a lot of Laura Mercier glosses, but this is the first lip plumper I have tried from the brand. It does not sting, but does plump well and is not sticky! I am testing a limited edition color called Charmed. It is a light peach sheer color and is gorgeous, perfect with the hot black smoky eye!

What I think: I love the blush part of this duo. It is such a gorgeous color and it is so easy to use. Just rub a little on the apples of the cheeks, rub in and go! The bronzer is matte and creamy. It takes a little practice to get it looking perfect, but it is so pretty.

What I think: Laura Mercier’s glosses are moisturizing and not sticky. I have this one in Pout, a very soft pink.

What I think — I love the soft color and the smooth formula. Just a couple of coats gives an opaque look.

What I think: I am always curious about BB and CC creams. I love skincare and makeup combined. But I find that the colors are off a lot of the time and they are very thick.
I like this one. I received it in light. It is too light for me now, but will be perfect for the winter time. It is not too thick. It applies nicely and covers really well. And, it is not orange-hued, which a lot of the creams are.

What I think: I really like this concealer pot. With two shades of cream and the powder, you can really customize the level of concealing that you need to do. I keep it in my purse for touch ups.

What I think: This is the foundation that I am using now (in the shade Bisque). It is perfect over primer and concealer. Also, you can decide how much to used for what kind of coverage you need.

What I think: This is the first serum with SPF I have tried. It is a very lightweight serum that soaks right into the skin. I love that it gives anti-aging skin care benefits plus the SPF of 30.
Kate Somerville Daily Deflector Waterlight ($48 USD) — This ultra-fluid, waterlight sunscreen—that blends effortlessly into skin—provides hydration, SPF50+ broad spectrum protection, and anti-aging benefits. A cutting-edge delivery system ensures that the Sunscreen stays in a reservoir on the skin’s surface, while Advanced Ingredients penetrate to restore optimal moisture levels and reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

What I think: This is a wonderful sunscreen that is so light you can use it over a heavier moisturizer if you need one. It also has great anti-aging benefits. Great if you are looking for a sunscreen to use with your normal skin care regimen.

I have been testing the finishing powder, the lipstick and the eyeliners. The finishing powder is so good! Use a fluffy powder brush to buff it over foundation or bb cream. It sets your makeup and blurs the look of fine lines and pores.
The lipstick is gorgeous, but way to bright for me. I gave it to my teenage daughter and it is so pretty on her.
The eyeliners last FOREVER on. But the brush takes me a bit to get the hang of, and you only have a few minutes play until it is set and totally waterproof. Perfect for the pool!
