I enjoy Laneige. I have the lip sleeping mask, the face sleeping mask and a serum. I am looking forward to trying this cream.
I’m not sure about the Anti-Frizz hair sheets. I might try them in the summer when it’s humid.
The LUE powder looks interesting. I’ll probably give it a go.
I will be using this. I have tried the St. Tropez tanning mousse and really liked it. I’ve never tried a product like this before, so I hope it works well.
The lighting on this photo is a little off. They are more warm nude products. You can see in the swatch below:
The Laritzy gloss is a nice sheer nude. It’s very glossy and just a little bit sticky. I like it, though. I think it will be really nice in the summer.
The eye shadow is so pretty! I tried it out and it dries down fast and is very glittery! It’s nice for days where you want a little drama, but want a quick look.
I’m happy with this box. I think it’s worth the $15. I’ll definitely use the lip gloss, eye shadow, Laneige cream and bronzing water gel. I will also try the cleansing powder and the hair sheets. I love it when everything in a box is useful!
Do you get Allure Beauty Box? What did you receive this month?
Hi all! I hope you had a great week. I’m ready for the weekend!
I recently received a credit to pick out some fun Lit Cosmetics products for my honest review. Lit Cosmetics offers one of the largest selection of glitter products sold in the market today. Check out what I chose to try:
This photo has the Glitter Camo open, you can see a closer pic below:
LIT COSMETICS, the authority in glitter has just launched GLITTER CAMO, a new single-step, aloe-based glitter product designed to highlight show-stopping facial looks and acts as a stunning body glitter.
The launch starts swith three shades:
Sergeant Sparkle – multi-sized rainbow shimmer with pink silica base
Commander in Glitter – multi-sized holographic silver with blue silica base
Major Gold – multi-sized gold glitter with silica base
I have Commander in Glitter. It’s so pretty. Great for festivals, going out, costumes, or if you just want to sparkle!
Spring Fling and Afternoon Delight are their size two glitters.
The lit kit includes A metallic eye shadow, a Daily Wear Glitter Base to adhere loose product to the eyes with ease and a the Mini Application Brush
The liquid base works so well with these loose glitters. I dip my brush in the liquid, then the glitter, and it creates almost a cream glitter eye shadow, or highlighter, whatever you want to use it for.
Swatches are below:
The first one is the Camo Glitter. It is blue and silver with various glitters.
I mixed the other 3 glitters/metallic with the mixing base to create a liquid. It makes it easier to swatch and easier to apply on eyes. All of these shades are so fun for spring and summer looks!
I’m really impressed with Lit Cosmetics! Their glitters are stunning and the new Glitter Camo is so much fun to use!

Do you like to play with glitter makeup? What products do you like to use?
Hi all! I received my May BoxyCharm this week! I always watch for the spoilers so I basically knew what I am getting. But, there were a few different variations this month.
I’ve been subscribed to BoxyCharm for about a year and a half now and really enjoy it. Boxycharm is just $21 a month for 4-5 beauty items, most of them full-sized. It is a nice way to try new makeup and beauty tools.
My photo makes this looks very orange, but the shade Paraiso is more pink in person. I have swatched these below with some of the other products, so hopefully you will be able to see the difference.
This is a really nice formula. Castaway and Scorcher are shimmery and Paraiso is more of a satin. I think these will be really gorgeous in the summer. I love the packaging, too!
First of all, the packaging for this is stunning! I love the rainbow metallic pattern. I haven’t tried much by GlAMGLOW and I’m looking forward to testing this out.
I have been trying to get better at doing my brows, so I love receiving brow products, especially when they are the correct color for me. I have very dark brown hair, and I usually get lighter colors in boxes. So I definitely will try this out!
This is such a pretty cream shadow. In some light it looks purple or pink and in some gold.
The shade I received is Kiss of Fire. It’s a very bright red. I don’t wear red lipstick, but I tried it on to test the formula. It’s very comfortable matte formula. I would like to try it in a nude. It’s really nice. I’ll probably keep this just in case I need a red. It is a gorgeous shade.
Here are swatches of the products I received:
From left to right is the Mellow Cosmetics brow pencil, the Dose of Colors lippie, the Ciate London cream eye shadow, and the Alamar blush trio. I’m loving the products this month!
So this was a great box for me. I will use everything in the box, except for the red lipstick. It is so pretty, though, so I’ll keep it. I’m planning on choosing between BoxyCharm and Ipsy Glam Bag Plus next month, but both boxes were so good this month. I may end up keeping both!
Do you get BoxyCharm? What did you get this month?
Hi all! It was a beautiful day in Kansas City today, it’s definitely spring!
I have another Mother’s Day Gift guide for you! These are items that I love and think will make great gifts:
This Mother’s Day or any day when Mom deserves a little pampering, let her indulge in a journey of the senses with South of France all-natural soaps (www.southoffrancebodycare.com). They’re kettle-cooked in small batches using a traditional Marseille triple-milled recipe to create a creamy lather that leaves skin soft and moisturized. And she can choose from one of 14 transporting scents including almond gourmande, blooming jasmine, climbing wild rose, lavender fields, lemon verbena, lush gardenia or mediterranean fig. All South of France liquid and bar soaps are free of synthetic foaming agents like sodium lauryl/laureth sulfate, as well as glutens, EDTA, parabens, and phthalates.
I received some of their newest scents to try — Glazed Apricots, Violet Bouquet, and Cherry Blossom. They are all very fresh and sweet, so nice for spring. My favorite is Cherry Blossom, but my family loves all of them.
You can find South of France products in natural and grocery stores nationwide. Check their website here for locations.

Hi all! Happy May! It’s time for a new month and a new Shop My Stash! I’m always excited to play with new (again to me) products that I either haven’t used in a while or haven’t used much at all! My goal is to get more use out of the products I have and to see if they are something I want to keep.
As you can see, I haven’t used these much at all! I chose some brighter colors this month, along with some neutrals, of course! Here’s more info on all of the products:
This is the BH Cosmetics Festival Palette that came out last year. There’s a newer one out now, but I haven’t picked it up. I need to get some use out of this one! I only used it a few times last year and need to give it some love! I can do neutral as well as colorful looks with this, which I am happy about. But I am going to make myself dip into the colors!
I won the Morphe x Jaclyn Hill vault in a giveaway, and haven’t used the palettes much at all. This is the Armed and Gorgeous palette. I think the color scheme is pretty, and not usually what I wear. I usually go for pinks, browns and purples. The is very warm and it should be fun to try it out. Those golds and bronzes are calling to me!
I purchased this Smashbox Cali Contour palette in the Ulta 21 Days of Beauty. I’ve been wanting it since last year, but I’m glad I waited because it was half off! I have used this a few times and really enjoy it. I can see using this every day!
These are the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Eye Pencil in Roach and the Julep Full Coverage Cream Lipstick in Pirouette. I haven’t been wearing eyeliners for well over a year. I usually use shadows on my lower lash and I only tightline my top lash line. I thought it might be time to try a liner again. this one is so creamy and I love the color!
I used to be a Julep Maven, but since they cancelled the subscription, I haven’t used much of their products. I found this in it’s box still and thought I would try it out. It’s a pretty mauve shade. Sorry for the blurry swatches! The left is the liner and right is the lipstick. We’ll see how I like them!
So these are the products I am playing with this month. It sure looks like I am ready for summer with such bright and shimmery shades! I’ll share at the end of the month how much use I got out of these products and how I enjoyed them. I’m going to try not to purchase much this month (Ulta has been taking my money with all of their sales), so I should be using a lot of my existing products. Plus, June is my birthday month, and I will probably treat myself then.

Are you doing a Shop My Stash this month? Are you on a low or no buy? Let me know how it’s going!
Hi All! I’m back with my April Shop My Stash results! I enjoy dipping into my collection and using products I haven’t used in a long time, or just haven’t given much of a chance.
My rule with this is if I don’t like the item after the month, I will move it out of my collection to make some room and let someone else enjoy it!
You can check out my first Shop My Stash post for April. Here’s a photo with the palettes open:
As I’ve been saying this week, I’ve been suffering severe allergies in April, so I didn’t wear as much makeup as I had hoped. I do have to say that when I did do my makeup, I tried to use the Violet Voss Holy Grail palette and the Cover FX face palette. They were my most used this month.
The Violet Voss palette is so beautiful! It’s perfect for warm toned, neutral looks. I mostly used the browns and bronzes and really loved them. I tried to dip into most of the shades. I will definitely be keeping this beauty!
The Cover FX All in One Perfector Face Palette is really nice. I love bronzing and contouring with the same powder, but this contour is too cool for me to do that. So I just used it in the hollows of my cheeks and my nose. I had to use a different bronzer for the rest of my face. The blush is nice, but a bit too bright for me. I did really love the highlighters, brightener and finishing powder. I will keep this and probably use it more in the summer.
The Rimmel London MAGNIF’EYES Eyeshadow Palette in Electric Violet is so pretty. The mattes are very easy to blend. The shimmers are nice, but you need to wet them to get any metallic payoff. My favorite shade is the second from the left. It’s a nice transition shade. I also love the lighter purple shimmers. I didn’t use this too much, but I did get a chance to try most of the shades. I will keep this because of the few shades I love. I also have a few of these palettes and am starting a little collection of them!
The bareMineral Gen Nude Patent Lip Lacquer in Can’t Even and Bae are such great spring colors. They are a bit sticky, which I didn’t realize before. I will continue to use them because I like the shades, but I don’t know if I would purchase more.
So I’m keeping everything! What a successful month!
It’s on to my April Empties:
I had six this month! I think this is the most I’ve had this year. Last year I did Project Pan’s instead of Shop My Stash, and I definitely haven’t been going through as many products this year. But I’m proud of myself this month. And I hopefully will have as many next month, too.
Of course, it’s mostly skincare. I used up the H2O+ Elements Jelly Cleanser, The Higher Education Easy A Gentle Resurfacing Pads, The Reclaim Botanical Radiant Recovery Smooth Skin Scrub and the Radiant Recovery Day Cream, Pixi Beauty Rose Ceramide Cream, and the Tarte Maneater Mascara. I liked all of these, but the one I would probably repurchase is the Pixi Rose Ceramide Cream. It’s so gentle and hydrating! But I have lots of skincare to go through before I purchase anything new!

Are you doing a Shop Your Stash or Project Pan this year? How’s it going?
Hi all! Can you believe April is almost over and May is on it’s way!
With my severe allergies, I didn’t wear a lot of makeup this month. But I was using a few skincare products that soothed my skin and was testing out some products I purchased in Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty.
Here are the products that I have been using. If I have reviewed them before, I will include the link, if not, I will link to where you can purchase:
For skincare, I have been using the Derma E Hydrating Eye Cream every day and night. It’s moisturizing and gentle on my dry, irritated eyes. The IT Cosmetics Confidence in a Neck Cream has been keeping my neck smooth and tight. But. my favorite skincare discovery is the G.M. Collin Hydramucine Optimal Serum. It contains a combination of high and low hyaluronic acid to provide moisture while an advanced hydrating formula prevents water loss, improves water circulation within the skin, stimulates ceramide production, and boosts skin’s ability to regulate moisture levels. It makes my dry, uncomfortable skin feel instantly hydrated. And it sinks right in and doesn’t leave skin greasy. I’ve been using it day and night!
My fave complexion products include the Beautyblender Selfie Shield primer with SPF 38. I received all three new primers for review, and I am enjoying them all. This is my current fave of the three because my sensitive skin has not been liking traditional sunscreen. This is a dry oil and sinks right into the skin without irritating it. I also have been loving my bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Hydrating Foundation Stick SPF 25. I have it in the shades 1.5 Birch and 2.0 Vanilla. This is creamy and has a nice medium coverage. I can layer it on for more of a full coverage.
I picked up the Beauty Bakerie HD Flour Setting Powder (Translucent) the MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot (Painterly (nude beige)) and the Lancome Cils Booster XL Vitamin Infused-Mascara Primer during the Ulta 21 Days of Beauty Sale. I use all three every day now and love them all. The powder sets without making my skin look cakey. The paint pot primes my lids very nicely and my shadow lasts all day! I have always loved mascara primers. It’s nice to use a high end one at half price!
My favorite mascara, which is sadly almost at it’s expiration date is the Nanacoco Outlash Mascara. It makes my lashes very long and gives some volume and separation, too. It’s not too bold, so it’s my perfect every day mascara. The lovely Urban Decay Naked Reloaded Eyeshadow Palette is my favorite palette find of the month. It’s a perfect everyday neutral palette that can be smoked up for evening looks. And I have also been loving the Urban Decay HI-FI Shine Ultra Cushion Lip Gloss. It is shiny without being sticky, and it smells and tastes minty!
What are you April beauty favorites? Any fun new finds this month?
Hi all! I hope you’re having a great weekend! The fam and I went to see the Avengers Endgame today. It was three hours of action and emotion! So good!
Last weekend, I shared my first weeks haul here. Ulta Beauty has a drugstore beauty sale two weeks each spring after the 21 Days of Beauty. Each week had new sales. This is what I purchased the second week:
I got everything from 30 – 50% off, which is really great deals! The only product that was not on sale was the e.l.f. concealer. But, it is only $5 and I really wanted to try it!
My most exciting purchase is the Warrior Palette By Juvia’s Place. I’ve been wanting to try one of their palettes, but some of the color combos confuse me. This is a neutral palette that is very easy to use and is a safe way for me to try out the formula. I have done a look with the palette that was so pretty, and I swatched them (see below). The mattes didn’t swatch as well as the amazing metallics, but they worked well on the eyes.
So gorgeous! I am looking forward to playing with this more!
These are the rest of the color cosmetics I purchased. I have been searching for an affordable, but awesome concealer. So far I like this one. The Flower beauty gloss/mask is very pretty. I always needs a light lip pencil, and this one is such a pretty shade. My only miss is the eye brow pencil. I LOVE the L.A. Girl formula. I received a free one of this in a GWP I got with last years sale. The shade has worn off, so I purchased it in Espresso, but I think the one I have is a darker color. My brows are almost black, so this is a bit light and warm for me.
Here are swathces of thecolor cosmetics. The lippies are perfect, the eyebrow pencil a little light, and I think the concealer is a little yellow for me. But I will still try out the formula!
Let me know if you would like me to review any of this! I will probably do a Review of some of these and my 21 Days of Beauty Haul.
Did you purchase anything from the sale? Or are you going to shop the Sephora VIB sale? I’m a bit broke, so I don’t know if I will pick anything up.
Hi all! I hope you are having gorgeous spring weather like I am. I think it’s going to be in the 70’s today in Kansas City. Although my allergies are bad and I don’t spend much time outside, I do enjoy the nice weather!
I’ve received some wonderful Urban Decay products for my honest review lately, including some gorgeous lip products. I wanted to share my favorites!
Such gorgeous packaging! I love Urban Decays innovative packaging. Here’s a shot of the lippies open:
VICE LIPSTICK–($19 USD) On the left is Lovelight (pale peach w/pink shimmer – sheer shimmer) and Oblivion (gray-taupe mega matte)
As you can see, I like lighter shades. These are all very different, though. Close up photos below, followed by swatches.
The top and left is Fuel and bottom right is Rapture. These are both beautiful and semi-sheer. These are gorgeous on their own or over lipstick. They are shiny, but not sticky at all! Which I love!
This is a bit messy, but I have been testing it out. This is more of a putty formula than a mousse. This does take a little bit of work to get good coverage, but a lip liner and using the little applicator sponge helps. It is very matte on. I’m not the biggest matte fan, but this looks pretty. It also is nice with one of the glosses layered on.
The left is the Ultra Matte in Oblivion and the right is the Sheer Shimmer in Lovelight.
Oblivion is very matte, but it’s comfortable on. Even a bit moisturizing. Plus, it looks amazing with the Rapture gloss over it! Lovelight is gorgeous all by itself! Very sheer and shimmery. Perfect for spring and summer.
Here are the swatches — Fuel, Rapture, Oblivion, Lovelight and Halo. Such different formulas — but all really fun! I’ll probably be picking up more glosses, lipsticks and if they put out lighter shades in the Lo-Fi, I will be trying those, too!
Hi all! I hope you are having a great spring and are not suffering through allergies like I am! I actually had to go to the doctor’s to get a breathing treatment yesterday and am on tons of meds. Sigh…
But, the reviews must go on! I was recently sent some fab new Philosophy skincare for my honest review! Here’s what I received:
Anti-Wrinkle Miracle Worker + Line-Correcting Moisturizer ($24 .5 oz travel size) — Help regenerate the look of skin in just 1 week. This anti-aging moisturizer smooths out lines and wrinkles and acts as a de-stressor for your skin.
What I think: I am loving all of these amazing skincare products that Philosophy has recently been releasing. I have already reviewed the larger size of the Anti-Wrinkle Miracle Worker moisturizer here. This size will be perfect to take with my on summer travels! It’s also an affordable way to try it out.
I love the makeup remover for getting every last bit of makeup without irritating my sensitive eyes. I also wear contacts, and at the end of the day, my eyes don’t want to be messed with! This is gentle and effective.
The Peeling Mousse is a really cool product. It combiens physical exfoliation and an exclusive enzymatic complex. You leave it on for 1-minute and it grabs on to debris that can build up causing dull skin, and visibly rolls away those impurities. It makes skin super soft and glowing. It also helps with skin tone and fine lines.
The Hydra-Essence is a pre-moisturizer step. I find that it gives an extra layer of hydration under my moisturizer, so my skin feels more hydrated and comfortable longer. It is light and non-greasy, which I need having combination skin.
