Ulta Beauty Spring Haul 2019 Week 2

Hi all!  I hope you’re having a great weekend!  The fam and I went to see the Avengers Endgame today.  It was three hours of action and emotion!  So good!

Last weekend, I shared my first weeks haul here.  Ulta Beauty has a drugstore beauty sale two weeks each spring after the 21 Days of Beauty.   Each week had new sales.  This is what I purchased the second week:

Tree Hut Firming Sugar Scrub Mocha and Coffee Bean

The Body Shop Banana Body Yogurt

Yes to Cucumbers Facial Towelettes

EcoTools Full Powder Brush

Juvia’s Place The Warrior Eyeshadow Palette

ULTA Watermelon Facial Mist

e.l.f. Cosmetics 16HR Camo Concealer (Light Beige (light with golden beige undertone))

L.A. Girl Shady Slim Brow Pencil (Espresso)

L.A. Girl Ultimate Lip Intense Wear Auto Lipliner (Forever Bare)

FLOWER Beauty Petal Pout Lip Mask (Smooch (petal pink))

Not pictured — Physicians Formula Butter Highlighter (Pearl) — It shipped separately, and I haven’t received it yet.

I got everything from 30 – 50% off, which is really great deals!   The only product that was not on sale was the e.l.f. concealer.  But, it is only $5 and I really wanted to try it!

My most exciting purchase is the Warrior Palette By Juvia’s Place.  I’ve been wanting to try one of their palettes, but some of the color combos confuse me.  This is a neutral palette that is very easy to use and is a safe way for me to try out the formula.  I have done a look with the palette that was so pretty, and I swatched them (see below).  The mattes didn’t swatch as well as the amazing metallics, but they worked well on the eyes.

So gorgeous!  I am looking forward to playing with this more!

These are the rest of the color cosmetics I purchased.  I have been searching for an affordable, but awesome concealer.  So far I like this one.  The Flower beauty gloss/mask is very pretty.  I always needs a light lip pencil, and this one is such a pretty shade.  My only miss is the eye brow pencil.  I LOVE the L.A. Girl formula.  I received a free one of this in a GWP I got with last years sale.  The shade has worn off, so I purchased it in Espresso, but I think the one I have is a darker color.  My brows are almost black, so this is a bit light and warm for me.

Here are swathces of thecolor cosmetics.  The lippies are perfect, the eyebrow pencil a little light, and I think the concealer is a little yellow for me.  But I will still try out the formula!

Let me know if you would like me to review any of this!  I will probably do a Review of some of these and my 21 Days of Beauty Haul.

Did you purchase anything from the sale?  Or are you going to shop the Sephora VIB sale?  I’m a bit broke, so I don’t know if I will pick anything up.

Colourpop It’s My Pleasure Palette Review

Hi all! I’m here with a review of the new Colourpop It’s My Pleasure palette.  It’s a gorgeous purple and pink palette.  I picked it up in my recent haul that you can see here.

My photos aren’t the best, I took some at night and some at daytime, but hopefully you can see how pretty this is!

Here’s the palette with flash:

The shades from left to right are:

Kittenfish: matte cool lavender
Do or dough: metallic bright lavender with blue duo chrome flip
Pretty cruel: matte berry mauve with gold flecks
Bare minimum: metallic berry violet
Earthshine: metallic pinky lavender with a blue duochrome flip
Chick lit: metallic deep amethyst
Mr. Sandman: icy rose with a silver sheen
Fan fiction: matte dusty pink
Sleeper: matte eggplant

This palette swatches so well! I’m not surprised because Colourpop’s shadows are such great quality! I like all of these shades, but I wish the third one (Pretty Cruel) didn’t have glitter flecks in it, because is the perfect crease color.  I did still use it in my crease, though. The mattes in this palette are pigmented and creamy and the metallics are gorgeous! They work well with a wet brush or your finger.

I have used these with neutral colors, but I am going to do a full purple eye soon.  You can also do a pretty pink eye look.  And like I do, you can pair this with other shades.  This is a very versatile palette!

I also love that this is only $12 and comes with a mirror! Colourpop has more of these 9 shadow palettes, including a brand new green one called Just My Luck.   It’s really fun, but I don’t know if I would use that one.

Have you purchased any of these 9 pan Colourpop palettes?  Would you purchase It’s My Pleasure, Just My Luck or one of the others?
