Beautyblender Pre-Touch Primer Collection Review

Hi everyone! I hope you are having an amazing week!  I have been testing out lots of fun spring makeup and skincare, and of course, having a blast doing it!

Some of my favorite new products are the new primers from Beautyblender. I recently reviewed the Beautyblender Bounce Foundation here, and really enjoy it. The Beautyblender Pre-Touch Primer Collection includes 3 perfecting primers to prep and balance skin so your makeup lasts way longer and looks even better.

Here is info on the primers:

IMG_0539.JPG

The Leveler Pore Minimizing Primer — Suitable for Normal to Oily Skin
Lightweight texture. Contains niacinamide and manuka honey to help blur the appearance of redness and witch hazel to help minimize pore size. This primer comes in 2 skin-loving tints so you’ll never get a chalky finish. I have it in Light-Medium and it is also comes in Tan-Deep.

Opal Essence Serum Primer — Suitable for Normal to Dry Skin
Adds radiance and moisture. Unique nourishing, triple transforming texture: goes from a gel to an oil to cream. Powerful blend of fermented botanical extracts helps soothe and brighten skin.

Selfie Shield Broad Spectrum SPF 38, Dry Oil Primer — Suitable for All Skin Types
A sunscreen that actually works with makeup. Totally invisible, quick-absorbing dry oil helps both protect and prep skin with no residue. Multi-spectrum protection from UVA, UVB and HEV (high energy visible) light to help fend off damage from both the sun and your tech devices.

IMG_0542

The swatches are the Selfie Shield, Opal Essence and the Leveler. I have tested out all three.  I have combination skin.  I do like pore-filling primers, and glowy ones, too!

I was surprised that the Selfie Shield is an oil.  I’ve never tried an SPF primer oil before.  I put a lot on in the photo above, but it absorbs in the skin really quickly and does not feel oily at all.  I have layered other primers on top of it, or just used it alone with foundation.  Makeup applies nicely over it.

The Opal Essence primer is hydrating and a bit glowy.  I’m not one for the super dewy look, but this is a subtle glow that I really like.  It gives foundation and extra bit of dewiness and also looks nice on it’s own.

The Leveler is great for those with large pores and oiler skin types.  It can be worn all over the face or only in the t-zone. It has a light texture and just a bit of a tint to it.  Worn alone, it gives the skin a soft matte finish.  And it helps foundation stay matte and flawless all day, too!

None of these really have a scent, which I really like. I enjoy these for different makeup looks and finishes.  Plus, they can be combined with the Leveler in the t-zone and Opal Essence on the outer part of the face.  They all work well with the few different foundations I have tried them with.

Have you tried the Beautyblender primers?  What is your current favorite primer?

Rimmel London Stay Matte Products and Natural Shades For a Flawless Spring!

Hi all! I hope you’re spring is bright and sunny!  It’s been pretty nice in Kansas City and is getting warmer!

I received some fun Rimmel London products to create spring looks with.   The Stay Matte Line has a new concealer I’m excited to be trying and Rimmel has beautiful neutral and coral makeup that’s perfect for spring.  Here are the products I received for my honest review:

IMG_0384

Scandal’eyes WOW Wings Mascara ($6.99 USD at Walgreens)
Stay Matte Concealer ($5.49 USD at Walgreens)
Stay Matte Foundation ($5.49 USD at CVS)

IMG_0385

I received 001 Fair Porcelain in the foundation and 011 Porcelain in the concealer.  The foundation is a little light for me, but I still tried it out.  It has a mousse-like texture, but it feels really light when blended out.  I’d say it’s a medium coverage. And, I get more coverage with a brush than a sponge. The finish is soft matte.  It does not completely dry down and it’s so comfortable on.  I have combination, aging skin, but it does tend to get oily as the weather gets warmer.  I think this will be nice when my skin is oily, because it stays looking fresh all day, and not shiny.

The concealer is new. I’d say it’s also medium coverage.  It’s thick and just a bit dry, so I make sure to blend it out quickly.  But I have to say it stays on all day, and I didn’t see much creasing, which is really nice.  The shade I received is good on me now, but if I tan, it might be a bit light.

IMG_0391

Sorry this is so blurry!  But the swatch on the left is the foundation and theswatch on the right is the concealer.  They are both creamy, with a soft matte finish.

IMG_0386

Maxi Blush in 004 Sweet Cheeks and Stay Matte Liquid Lip Color in Be My Baby.

This is a buildable cheek color that lasts all day.  It has a velvety matte finish and blends really nicely. The color Sweet Cheeks is a soft coral-orange shade. It’s perfect for spring.

This matte lipstick is one of my favorite formulas.  It is very matte, so I love it with a light gloss over it.  It stays on so long!

img_0501.jpg

These products really define the eyes.  The mascara has a winged wand that flares out corner lashes for a perfect winged out look. It also lifts lashes and gives lots of volume. I really like that it doesn’t flake or smudge.  Rimmel makes such nice mascaras.

I don’t usually wear eyeliner.  I usually use eyeshadow as liner, but I do like liner for tightlining.  I’ve used this to tightline my upper lashes and placed it in my waterlines. It’s very soft and creamy and easy to blend, but it does also break easily because it is so soft.  It is waterproof and stays all day.

IMG_0388IMG_0389

I’m a big fan of the Rimmel London Magnif’Eyes Eyeshadow Palettes.  I have been enjoying the Nude Edition.  It’s a mostly cool toned palette, with a few warm tones lighter shades.

IMG_0503

Here’s swatches from the palette.  It has a good selection of mattes and shimmers, and I can create a good smoky eye if I want.  I normally do a more natural look, and this gives a good day look, too. The shadows are very easy to blend.  The mattes are a little powdery and there’s a bit of kick up in the pan, but not a lot.  The shimmers are very creamy.  I’m looking forward to playing with it more!

BoxyCharm Subscription Box Review — April 2019

IMG_0427

Hi all! I received my April BoxyCharm this week! I always watch for the spoilers so I basically knew what I am getting. But, there were a few different variations this month.

I’ve been subscribed to BoxyCharm for about a year and a half now and really enjoy it. Boxycharm is just $21 a month for 4-5 beauty items, most of them full-sized.  It is a nice way to try new makeup and beauty tools.

My version is 6. This month I received:

IMG_0426

PUR Cosmetics Festival Pressed Pigment Palette –  ($36 USD)

Artist Couture Diamond Glow Powder in Purple Dream –  ($27 USD)

Bodyography Eye Pencil in Bali Bronze — (14 USD)

Appeal Trendsetter Holographic Lip Gloss ($21 USD)

Luxie Summer Daze Brush Set – ($28 USD)

The total value for this box is $126.  Not too bad for a $21 box.

IMG_0429IMG_0430

This is the theme and list of what I got. It’s a very festival themed box. There is a lot of shimmer and bright products in here.  I think someone who loves glitter and going to festivals will LOVE this box!

IMG_0436.JPG

I was happy to get more Luxie brushes.  The are from top to bottom 245 Small Shader, 512 Small Contouring, and 209 Large Shader.  They are nice quality, but I would love to see some other brands of brushes in BoxyCharm. I will use these, though.  I really need to clean my brushes and having back ups are helpful!

IMG_0431I received the shade Purple Dream. Which is funny, because it looks golden peach in the container.  It does have a purple flip to it.  You’ll see the swatch in the photo below. It’s really glittery, and I don’t think I will wear it as a highlighter.  I might try it as an eyeshadow or give it to my daughter.

IMG_0432This lip gloss is actually pretty nice.  It feels smooth and not sticky.  It’s a soft holographic and I think it would nice over a pink or nude lipstick, or just on it’s own.

The eyeliner is a shimmery brown.  I will use it, brown eyeliner is my favorite.

Here are swatches:

img_0433.jpg

From left to right is the highlighter, eye pencil and lip gloss. I’m going to try these out more and see if I enjoy them!

IMG_0437IMG_0438

This is very fun!  There are shimmers, mattes and pressed glitters.  Here’s a few swatches:

IMG_0441.JPG

These swatched okay.  The glitters feel wet almost and swatched nicely, but I don’t really wear glitters.  The shimmers on the bottom on my hand are the four on the top pf the palette.  They swatched okay, but not the best.  I’m going to have to play with it, and I might end up passing it on. Also PUR is a very nice brand, but they are in BoxyCharm a lot.  I think BoxyCharm needs to bring in some other brands.

This box didn’t really thrill me, but I’ll use the brushes, and will test out everything else before I pass them on.  Last month, I decided that in June, I’ll be choosing between BoxyCharm/BoxyLuxe and Ipsy Glam Bag Plus.  You can see my April Ipsy GBP review here. I think Ipsy wins this month.  I think the products are a bit better quality for the price.  We’ll see what I think about May and June boxes.  Also, BoxyCharm is supposed to be coming out with a limited edition skincare box in May.  Hmm.

Do you get BoxyCharm?  What did you receive this month in your box?

Festival Beauty Essentials!

Hi all!  It’s music festival season! Are you going to a festival this spring or summer? I haven’t been to one in years, but that doesn’t mean I can’t have fun with my beauty products during the warmer months!

I’ve put together a few makeup and skincare faves for a fun and safe (don’t forget your SPF) time.  My picks aren’t as glitter as they could be, but if I was going to a festival, these are the types of products I would take with me:

IMG_0468

Urban Decay always has very fun makeup products that is perfect for festival looks. A few I love are:

Urban Decay On The Run Mini Palette in Detour ($25 USD) — This is a perfect travel sized palette.  I have included a photo of it opened below, so you can see the shades.  They are bronzes and couple of blues.  There is also the rosy toned Shortcut palette and the Bailout palette, which has cool toned browns and a couple of purples.  I also have the Shortcut palette and love it, too.

Urban Decay Double Team Special Effect Colored Mascara ($24) — The teal above is the shade Deep End.  It’s be really pretty paired with the palette. One end is a cream formula and the other is a glitter.  There is also a blue, pink, purple and one that’s gold on one end and silver on the other.

Hi-Fi Shine Ultra Cushion Lip Gloss ($20 USD) — The shade above is a holographic called SPL.  It’s a pretty shimmery pink.  I’ve just received some of these for review and am excited because I have heard how good they are.  The holographic shade is pretty for fun looks, but the creams are amazing for every day!  I’ll be reviewing them soon.

Urban Decay Cosmetics are available at http://www.urbandecay.com and beauty retailers like Ulta and Sephora.

For on-the-go coverage… FRÉ Skincare’s GLOW ME Tinted Moisturizer ($45 USD) is a revolutionary 3-in-1 formula designed specifically for skin that sweats, and we know there’s a lot of that during festival season. It’s formulated with Argania Active Complex for moisturizing, SPF 15 for protection, and with a universal nude tint for a sheer finish to blur unwanted blemishes and even skin tone.

Available at www.freskincare.com

For healthy sun protection that works… Love Sun Body 100% Natural Origin Mineral Sunscreens  are safe for use on your face and body and provide 80 minutes of water and sweat resistant protection.

Available in lightly scented or fragrance free and in 2 different sizes (6.76 OZ for $32.00 or 3.38 OZ for $21.00) at lovesunbody.com/collections and Amazon.com.

For Flower Power nails… Morgan Taylor’s Spring 2019 Collection – The Color of Petals will have you pretty from head to toe! Inspired by your favorite flowers, these gorgeous pastels are the perfect finishing touch to any spring festival look. Available at Ulta.com and SaltEarthSpa.com beginning February for $9.50 per bottle.

Just for fun, here’s a photo with the Urban Decay palette open:

IMG_0473

Oh yes, that’s gorgeous!  This is nice for all year round, but will be especially perfect for bronzey, summer looks!

Are you going to any festivals this year?  What products will you take with you?

Ipsy Glam Bag Plus Review — April 2019

IMG-0168

Hi All!  It’s time for my April Ipsy Glam Bag Plus review! This is a subscription box that will always include 5 full-sized items. And the items included are mostly luxe or higher end items. This is such a great value for the high quality items included.

Here’s what I received:

IMG_E0409

Benefit Cosmetics High Brow Highlight & Lift Pencil($22 USD)

IT COSMETICS Heavenly Skin Skin-Smoothing Complexion Brush #704 ($48 USD)

Paris Hilton ProD.N.A. Dual Action Cleansing Gel ($29 USD)

GOLDFADEN MD Bright Eyes ($55 USD)

Laura Sanchez’s Moods Eyeshadow and Highlighter Palette($35 USD)

The total value for my box this month is $189.  That’s amazing for $25!

IMG_0446IMG_0447

I haven’t tried many Benefit brow products, but I am excited to try this. The packaging is so cool. The color is a soft pink.  I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m looking forward to giving it a go!

IMG_0445

I haven’t taken this out of the tube, because I already have it and might give this one away.  It’s a really nice brush for cream or liquid products. IT Cosmetics makes really gorgeous brushes.

img_0444.jpg I honestly didn’t know that Paris Hilton had a skincare line.  I haven’t tried this yet, but it claims to “effectively cleanse and gently exfoliate without stripping the skin of moisture.”

I’m not sure if I’m going to keep this or pass it on, I have a lot of cleansers open right now and won’t really need a new one for at least a couple of months. It’s interesting, though.

IMG_0443

This looks like such a nice eye cream. It’s supposed to brighten under eye circles, depuff eyes and reduce appearance of wrinkles.  That’s a lot of claims!  I’ll probably keep this for when I need a new eye cream and try it out.

IMG_0411IMG_0412

This palette is full of lots of fun colors! Very festival vibe-y. This month, BoxyCharm also has a brightly colored palette.  I’ll be testing that one out and reviewing it, too!

Here are some swatches:

IMG_E0414

The two highlighters are on the top and the eye shadows are below.  The shimmers are really pretty, especially the green pink and blue.  The mattes didn’t swatch the best (the yellow isn’t even showing up), but they worked okay on my eyes.  The shimmers just as nice on the lids.  The highlighters didn’t show up well when I swatched them, but they are shimmery on.  I’m going to play with the palette a few more times and then hopefully give a full review.

I’m pretty happy with my box this month.  I will keep the Benefit High Brow and the eyeshadow palette, and will probably keep the eye cream, I might keep the cleanser and I will give away the brush, since I have it already.  I might put it in my 5000 follower Instagram Giveaway that I’m planning, so stay tuned.  My IG is @fortyflirtyfab.

Do you get Ipsy Glam Bag Plus?  What did you get?

Ulta 21 Days of Beauty — Spring 2019 Haul!

Hi all! I had a fun time purchasing a few items from Ulta’s Spring 21 Days of Beauty sale.

Looking at the photo of what I purchased, I picked up useful items like primers, powder, setting spray and a contour kit.  It’s funny that I didn’t get any fun color cosmetics, but these are items I needed and ones I’ve been wanting to try.  It’s hard to pass up such great deals!  And, I will be purchasing from Ulta’s Spring Haul this week and next week, and I might get a palette or two…

I picked up:

IMG_0397

Beauty Bakerie HD Flour Setting Powder (Translucent)

Too Faced Born This Way Ethereal Loose Setting Powder (Translucent)

Smashbox The Cali Contour Palette

Lancome Cils Booster XL Vitamin Infused-Mascara Primer

MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot (Painterly (nude beige))

Smashbox Photo Finish Primerizer

ULTA Youthful Glow Primer Serum

MAC Prep + Prime Fix+ Scents (Creamy Coconut)

All of these amazing products were daily steals so they were half off. I’ve especially been wanting to try the brand Beauty Bakerie, the Too Faced powder, the MAC paint pot and especially the Smashbox Cali Contour Palette.  I’ve had my eye on that since last year!

So far, I have tried some of these products.  The standouts for me so far are the contour palette, the mascara primer, and the Beauty Bakerie powder.  I will continue testing products and maybe do a review of some or all of these later.

Are there any products you would like to see a full review of? Did you pick up anything during the sale?

New bareMinerals Products For Face and Lips

Hi all!  I hope you are having an amazing weekend so far!  It was in the 70’s today in Kansas City, and that’s so exciting. So in honor of the warm weather, I thought I would review some fresh new products from bareMinerals!

I was sent the following products for my honest review:

IMG_0295

The products I was sent for review are:

Complexion Rescue Hydrating Foundation Stick SPF 25 ($32 USD) — A clean, water-based liquid foundation in a stick that combines hydrating skincare benefits and SPF with naturally radiant medium coverage.

Blemish Rescue Skin-Clearing Spot Concealer ($22 USD) — A non-drying, full-coverage targeted spot concealer that reduces the appearance of blemishes and redness and helps to prevent future blemishes.

BAREPRO Longwear Lipstick ($20 USD) — The long lasting lipstick that provides up to 8 hours of wear with a weightless, matte finish.

IMG_0297

Here’s a close up of the products — I received the foundation in the shades Birch 1.5 and Vanilla 2, the concealer in Fair/Light 1.5N, and the lippies in (from top to bottom) Petal, Spice and Peony.

img_0298.jpg

I have been using these two shades together.  Birch is a bit light and Vanilla is a bit deeper for me, so blended together, they look amazing on!

The coverage on this is light for me, but I can build it up to medium. I find applying it with a brush gives the best coverage. It gives a natural finish, which is what I like.  I don’t like to be too matte or too glowy. And it feels light on the skin, not too creamy or heavy!

The foundation wears all day and looks so nice on!

IMG-0370IMG-0371

I don’t break out often, but I have a bit lately and have been trying this concealer on my acne.  It covers it well.  I’m not sure how well it treats my acne, but it does make my skin look better.

The consistency is creamy, but a bit dry, so it won’t slide of the skin.  It definitely stays put all day!

img-0374.jpg

I was so excited to try these, because I heard they have an amazing formula.  I don’t like matte liquid lipsticks, but I do like a soft matte lipstick.

This feels very hydrating and creamy when applied. It dries down just a bit to a matte finish, but it’s still comfortable and not drying.

I love all three shades.  You can see that I love nudes and pinks, and these colors will work so well all year round.

Here are swatches of all of the products:

img-0368.jpg

From left to right is the foundation in Birch and Vanilla, the concealer in Fair/Light and the lipstick in Petal, Spice and Peony.

I’m enjoying all of these products, especially the foundation and the lipsticks.

Have you tried any of these new bareMinerals products? What do you think?

Fresh Products For Spring Beauty

Hi all!  I hope your are enjoying spring and that your weather has improved.  It’s much nicer now in Kansas City!

I have been testing a lot of new products this spring.  I’ve decided to feature a few here that have been helping my skin and hair this spring, plus a waterproof cream eyeshadow:

Bioré Blue Agave + Baking Soda Balancing Pore Cleanser ($5.99 USD): Developed especially for those with combination skin, this everyday cleanser deep cleans the oily parts while smoothing and conditioning the rough, dry parts— for balanced, conditioned skin. Not only does it remove deep down dirt and impurities from the pores, but it gently exfoliating away dead cells, allowing healthy cells to emerge. With continued daily use, you’ll achieve softer, smoother skin and a more balanced complexion.
Bioré Blue Agave + Baking Soda Instant Warming Clay Mask ($5.99 USD): Sometimes your skin needs a little extra TLC—plus, what better way to take a selfie—if not with a blue mask on! Designed to purify and refine skin by absorbing excess oils, this instant warming mask opens pores and melts away that pore-clogging dirt, oil, and sebum—leaving your skin clean, soft and refreshed. This warming clay mask, formulated to deep clean pores, is pH balanced for comfortably clean skin. This mask has a unique self-heating technology that is activated when massaged into the skin. This thermal formula in conjunction with purifying and skin toning clays optimize the mask’s ability to deep clean and purify.
What I think:  I have combination skin, so these products are great for me! I also think they would work well for normal-oily skin.  The cleanser really cleans my skin without drying it out.  Plus, it doesn’t irritate it.  My skin is sensitive, too, especially during allergy season.  The mask is really fun it use.  Because my skin is sensitive, I can only do this about once a week, and since there are four in the pack, it’s a months worth.  I love the blue shade and how well it cleans out my pores.  It leaves my skin very soft!
Purchase at mass market retailers near you!

ELLIS FAAS CREAMY EYES ($34 USD) This is a coloured cosmetic applied to the eyelids or to the skin around the eyes to accentuate them. applied in a liquid state, the texture soon dries. unlike other eyeshadows, this formula thereby becomes resistant to the effects of humidity such as tears and wet weather; does not build up in the eyes’ creases; and will not smudge when being rubbed. available in 21 shades.

What I think:  I these in the shades E115 Purple and E104 Grey Brown.  I have found that these work so well as base shades.  They are both fairly deep, but I can use them in my crease or all over the lid.  I can keep the look matte or add a shimmer on top.  These also work nicely as liners, because they are smudge and waterproof.  Gorgeous quality!  And, let’s not forget the cool silver bullet packaging!

These can be purchased at http://www.ellisfaas.com

John Frieda Wonder Drops Hair Masks
John Frieda Wonder Drops Hair Masks
John Frieda Wonder Drops Hair Masks ($3.49 USD) Four targeted hair masks that transform hair in a matter of minutes. Designed to treat hair suffering from frizz, fading, damage or dullness, each mask revives hair with a single in-shower application. Simply shampoo, squeeze out excess moisture and massage the Wonder Drops throughout wet hair.
Available in: Frizz Smoothing, Blonde Brightening, Damage Repairing and Vibrancy Enhancing

What I think:  I have already tried the Frizz Smoothing and Damage Repairing.  The Frizz Smoothing mask really helped cut my frizz down a lot!  This will be so nice to have in the summer when the humidity kills my hair.  The Damage Repairing Mask is nice for damaged hair.  Mine isn’t too bad right now, but I do need a haircut to get rid of split ends! The mask did help my hair and made it shiny and more manageable.

I have very dark brown hair, so I’m going to give the Blond Brightening mask to a blond friend and the Vibrancy Enhancing to my redhead daughter!  It seems there’s a mask for most hair types!

Shop My Stash — April 2019

IMG_0349

Hi all! It’s time for my April Shop My Stash!  I love the beginning of the month when I choose new products from my stash to use.  My goal is to get more use out of the products I have and to see if they are something I want to keep.

img_0350.jpg

I think my choices for April are so pretty!  And they all look new, so I need to give them some love and mess them up a bit!

Here are close ups of the products:

IMG_0356IMG_0355

I received this Violet Voss Pro HG palette in my December BoxyLuxe — and it’s really gorgeous!  I have only used it a few times, so I am excited to focus more on it this month.  I will be able to do neutral brown looks and more warm/coral looks for spring.  The metallics in these are gorgeous!  I haven’t reviewed it yet — and I will try to do it this month.  I say that every month with my palettes, and haven’t done it yet, but hopefully soon I will start reviewing my palettes!

IMG_0354IMG_0353 This is the Rimmel London MAGNIF’EYES Eyeshadow Palette in Electric Violet.  It is so pretty!  I have been choosing more neutral palettes so far this year in my Shop My Stashes, so I decided I needed a colorful one in this month!  I’m going to try to add a palette with color through spring and summer — it’s definitely the season for fun eye looks!  I haven’t played with this one yet, but it swatches so nicely, so I’m excited! And, I love purple!

IMG_0352IMG_0351

I received this CoverFX All in One Perfector Face Palette in my March BoxyLuxe.  I love that it takes care of my face color cosmetics in just one palette.  This will be nice if I travel this year, too.  This is the lighter palette and it works perfectly for my skin tone.

IMG_0357IMG_0358

These are the BareMinerals Gen Nude Patent Lip Lacquer in Can’t Even and Bae.  This is a high gloss liquid lipstick.  I received these lasts fall for review, and I thought these would be perfect in spring.  And they are!  I’m excited to wear them alone, over a lip liner or over a lipstick.

I am so excited to play with these product! Have you tried any of them? What do you think of them?

Shop My Stash March 2019 Results and Monthly Empties

IMG_3083

Hi All!  Can you believe it’s almost April?  It’s a nice, warmer day today (yesterday it snowed in Kansas City), and Easter is in a few weeks!

I’m here with the results of my March Shop my Stash.  I had a fun time using products that I haven’t either used in a while or it’s newer to my collection and I want to give it a go.  If I don’t like the item after the month, I will move it out of my collection to make some room!

My most used item from my stash was the Dose of Colors Desi x Katy Friendcation Eyeshadow Palette.  I used the mattes in the palette all month long!  Like I suspected, the metallics are too glittery for me.  When I use them, all I see is glitter!  And that’s not my everyday look.  I am going to keep it, though, because the neutral mattes are so nice!

I used the tarte Rainforest of the Sea highlighting eyeshadow palette vol. III’s shimmer shades with my Friendcation palette.  They are very pretty, but kind of boring.  All the shades are so similar.  I might end up passing this one on to my daughter.

The Laura Geller  Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator Palette is so pretty, but the shades are a bit dark for my skin.  I might keep it and try again in the summer if I tan, or pass it along.

I am not a fan of the Becca Glow Gloss in Malibu Soleil.  The shade isn’t very flattering on me.  I probably won’t keep it.

The Julep Eyeshadow 101 in Champagne Shimmer is so pretty!  I haven’t really given it a chance before.  It’s nice for the inner corner, under the brow or even all over the lid. I paired it with the Friendcation palette and used it all over my lid — it was gorgeous!

Here are my empties for February and March:

IMG_0348

I just have four empties for the last two months. I didn’t post empties in February because I only had the Smashbox spray then. I have been trying lots of new skincare, so I haven’t used up a lot.  I’m almost out of a few more skincare items, so I should have more next month!

This month I used up the Derma E Firming DMAE Eye Lift, The Smashbox Photo Finish So Chill Coconut Primer Water, Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe Chamomile and Lavender and Derma E Purifying Daily Detox Scrub.

The Derma E eye cream is amazing!  It really smooths my eye area.  I also really love the Derma E scrub.  It makes my skin so soft!  The two sprays were also so nice.  Especially the Smashbox So Chill Coconut.  I’m sad that it was a limited edition.

This was a fun month. I found a couple of products I will continue to use and a few I’ll move out of my collection and let someone else love them!

I will be posting my April Shop My Stash tomorrow. Do you like to shop your stash?
