I truly dislike working out. But I have to start again to get healthy. Sigh.

My Beauty Favorites — Week of January 18-24, 2015

It definitely is the time of the year to try new, hydrating skin care. I have been trying to keep my skin moisturized in the cold weather. It feels like the moisture has been sucked out of my whole body and I have been drinking lots of water as well as hydrating my skin!

My Beauty Favorites — Week of January 11-17, 2015

We had a surprise snow last night. I knew it was going to be in the single digits today in temperature, but I didn’t know it was going to snow. I think I’m done with winter. I am definitely looking toward to spring!

To keep my skin soft this week I’m loving a hydrating face fluid, a body oil and moisturizing body lotion. I am also loving cooling body wipes (great for the gym) and a maximum hold hair spray.

My Beauty Favorites — Week of October 26-November 1, 2015

Happy Halloween! I am doing my weekly favorites post today, because tomorrow I start my holiday gift giving guides. I am very excited about all of the wonderful gift ideas I will be sharing with you!

But today, it’s about my favorite beauty products from this week. I am loving a combo nail top and base coat, an elegant soap-on-a-rope and two different, but amazing lip balms:

Lauren B. Dual Base Top Coat ($22 USD) — Lauren B. Beauty’s multi-tasking Dual Base/ Top Coat acts as both a primer and a sealant for your nails. What I think: I have been using this as my base and top coat for a couple of weeks now. It’s amazing! My weekly manicures have been staying fresh for at least a day or two longer than usual. My nails are shiny and chip free. And the fact that one product does two jobs, it’s less stuff for me to have to use!
