Workout Time! Beauty Products To Take To The Gym

I truly dislike working out. But I have to start again to get healthy. Sigh.

Even though it’s not fun for me, there are some beauty products that will make it more fun! Cute hair accessories and products that will keep you neat and fresh after the gym make it better:

What I think: I love a brush that I can use in the shower! This detangles wet hair without pulling or breaking. And it detangles my daughter’s dry, knotted hair (if she lets me).

Summer hair is, at the same time, easy and frustrating. By easy, I mean that you can sport uncomplicated styles like beachy waves and cute braids. It can also be frustrating to fight frizz and sun damage.

My Beauty Faves Week of January 26 – February 1, 2015

I can’t believe it’s almost February! We’ve had some sunny and warm days last week in Kansas City, but it’s getting colder again and I’m reminded that it’s still winter!

So, this week I am still loving skin care and hair care products. My skin and hair both need hydration, and my flyaway hair definitely needs taming! But if you love makeup, don’t worry, I will be featuring my picks for Valentine’s Day soon!

What I think: I love the eye cream part of this duo. It’s very hydrating and soothing. The concealer is a bit odd. It isn’t creamy and doesn’t blend well. The consistency is like a putty. I have found that the best way to use it is to mix it on the back of my hand with the cream. Then I apply it as a highlighter under my eyes. Or, dip a concealer brush in the cream then in the concealer, apply and blend, blend, blend! Although it doesn’t work for me as a traditional concealer, I like the look that it gives me. It brightens my eye area.
