For my box this month, I chose one of their new Crème-to-Powder Eyeshadow Sticks in Orchid Shimmer. I also chose two colors, Paulina and Laurel and chose three add on polishes, Nicola, Jocelyn and Michaela and got a free polish, Myriam. Here are the shades:
Crème-to-Powder Eyeshadow Sticks in Orchid Shimmer. It’s a really pretty wine color that stays on all day. The other end has a sponge blender that works really well.

What I think: I really like this cloth. If I wet it and wipe my face, it removes all of my makeup. Then I flip it over and the longer fibers on the other side exfoliate my skin. And it washes up nicely!

What I think: Overnight treatments are really popular right now. This one is a little strong for my sensitive skin, but it is perfect for all other types of skin. I love anything that makes my skin glowing overnight!
Essence I Love Stage Eyeshadow Base ($3.49 USD) The I Love Stage Eyeshadow Base by Essence has to get on stage! It can be applied diversely either as primer for concealers or eye shadows. The creamy texture does not crease, makes the eye shadow last longer and appear much more color intensive. For an even eye make-up waiting for its gig on stage!
Essence Get BIG Lashes! Volume Curl Mascara ($3.99 USD) — Curly lashes! The large, curved fiber brush offers maximum volume! Essence Get Big Lashes helps you achieve gorgeous curl and while thickening your lashes. The black texture ensures an intensive look. Opthalmologically tested.
Essence Longlasting Lipstick ($2.99 USD) — Long lastinglove… you simply have to fall in love with the Longlasting Lipsticks by Essence. The lipsticks provide your lips with intensive color for several hours without drying them out.
What I think: The eyeshadow base is my favorite of the products. It goes on really creamy and isn’t drying. It helps keep my eye shadow looking fresh all day. The BIG Lashes mascara is also amazing because it curls my lashes so I don’t need to use a curler. And it gives lots of volume too, but not a lot of length. The lipstick is available in lots of pretty shades and does last — even through eating!
I love to try all types of skincare — preferably the anti-aging types! I think that you can purchase effective skincare at all price ranges, but sometimes its really nice to splurge and treat your skin.

What I Think: the Cleansing Lotion is so gentle. It also leaves my skin insanely soft after use. Perfect to use twice a day. I use the Oxygen Treatment Crème every evening before my night cream. When I wake up, my skin is soft and glowing. And the Ionic Mist is so refreshing. I use it after cleanser. All of these products have a mild, earthy scent.
Intraceuticals Rejuvenate Daily Serum ($149 USD) To deliver hydration and also instantly revive skin, this serum acts like a primer for the skin to maximize lasting hydration and keep your skin looking healthy and fresh all day long.

What I think: The combination of all three of these products leave my skin so soft and glowing. The texture of my skin is so much smoother and younger looking. This is great for night or day with an SPF as the last step.
I have always thought it was fun to change my scent with the seasons. As it turns colder, maybe a spicier or sweeter fragrance will match my mood.

Juicy notes explode in a fruity cocktail of tangy bergamot, apricot and orange zest and tantalizing notes of exotic coconut and jasmine add a sensual twist enhanced by tonka beans.
What I think: This one is a bit sweet for me, but it is zesty, too. If you like sweet, fruity scents, this one will be great for fall.
Lady Gaga Eau de Gaga ($34 USD) — the perfect fragrance to add to your collection this Fall! EAU DE GAGA is built around a beautiful heart of white violet, an intoxicating flower that fuses female and male attractions. The scent opens with an invigorating burst of sparkling lime to counterbalance the woody-floral intensity, and evolves into a sensual trail based on leather.
What I think: I really like this. It is very woodsy so it seems like more of a masculine scent, then the lime steps in and it is fresh, too. This is one I will wear during the cooler months!

I love both of these for after the gym, an outdoor adventure like camping or one hot days that you need a refresher. The shower sheets are my favorite because they have a mild scent and are cooling. The foam is a bit sticky at first, but does dry down nicely.

I’m really enjoying the face serum. It firms my skin and gives a youthful glow. I have been using the body balm on my elbows and heels and it keeps them very soft. The recovery gel soothes and is so cool on my sore back. Love!

These smell amazing (the scent reminds me of Jergens Original Cherry Almond lotion) and are very creamy and moisturizing. This is a really great gentle everyday shampoo and conditioner.

What I think: If you have thinning hair like I do, this is extremely helpful. It gives the illusion of thicker hair. Plus it makes hair feel thicker and more healthy. I will continue using it to see if it reduces hair fallout. That would be amazing!

What I think: For volume, the Actif spray is essential. Just spray at the roots and hair will lift! I really love the Soie hairspray. It has a gentle scent and gives hair instant shine.

What I think: I was given a sample of the Daily Moisturizer ($38 USD). It smells spicy and very masculine. It may be a strong scent for a moisturizer, but I think men will love it.

What I think: I think this product is a great idea — a moisturizer that evens skin tone. Kind of like an exfoliator and moisturizer in one! I’ve been using it every other day since I have sensitive skin. Once I get used to it, I will be able to use it every day. You can apply it morning and night (make sure to use your SPF over it in the morning).
Shaveworks Pearl Luxe Body Lotion ($29 USD) — A rich and creamy, ultra hydrating lotion that soothes and moisturizes skin, and will transcend you into the lap of luxury. This unique fragrance-free formula contains essential oils that nourish skin, and Capislow™ that slows hair growth leading to less frequent shaves.
What I think: Love! This is so moisturizing, yet it sinks into the skin and does not leave it greasy! I usually like a fragranced product, but I like that this can be used by people with fragrance allergies. Plus, it is just so luxurious!
Anthony Hand Cream ($16 USD) — Moisturizes and nourishes hands. Refines skin by diminishing the appearance of fine lines and improves skin texture with firming ingredients. AHAs help even skintone and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Glycerin hydrates, Wheat Protein tightens and Aqua Cacteen replenishes dry, dehydrated skin.
What I think: Firming cream for hands… awesome! I love the soft scent of this lotion. It feels amazing on my hands and leaves them smooth and soft.
It was so warm in Kansas City today, it had to be almost 90 degrees. I had to take my daughter downtown Kansas City to shop for a homecoming dress, and it was way to hot for Autumn!

What I think: The blush is gorgeous! I love that it’s a soft rose, which is perfect with a dramatic fall eye and lip. The brow cream is very easy to use. Just apply cream with brush, then brush through brows with spoolie for a natural look. And the matte lip cream is so on trend. Matte lips are in and this one is vibrant and long-lasting.

What I think: Both of these products are in such rich fall colors. The cream shadow is very blendable, and works well over an eye primer. It will last longer. The lipstick is a rich bronzy-wine. So pretty. It’s sheer on if you swipe it across your lips, it becomes darker when layered. Love!

What I think: I have found that my fun aging issue right now is enlarged pores. And if something irritates my skin, my pores get larger. That’s why I am excited that these products exist! They do not irritate my skin, which is essential! I layer the night cream over the pore refiner at night and my skin is glowing and smooth in the morning!

What I think: I have tried the balancing mist, so I was excited to receive this sample! It is both refreshing and moisturizing. It has a light rose scent that I love! The creams are new to me, but I will use the rose moisturizing cream when I need extra moisture (at night), and the calendula cream when my skin is red and sensitive. I love that they are all natural.

What I think: This is another great cream for red and sensitive skin. This one is nice to use in the daytime, as the green tint helps balance out the red in my skin. It also feels really nice on.

I received my September PopSugar Must Have a few days ago and have been enjoying the contents! This box is one of the lightest I have received and seems a little sparse, but I think all of the items are really useful. Here is a breakdown of them:
Hudson+Bleecker Labrynth Onyx Travel Trio ($42 USD) — I couldn’t find this printed travel trio on the Hudson+Bleeker website, but the enclosed description card in the box states that one of the bags is for intimates while one is for shoes. Briogeo Rosarco Milk Reparative Leave-In Conditioning Spray ($20 USD) — This is an ultra-lightweight leave-in conditioning spray fortified with nourishing rosehip, argan, and coconut oils.
