My Beauty Faves Week of January 5-11, 2015 — Le Mieux, Mehron, Phyto-C, Yes to and Snappers

It’s a new year! And it is so cold and dry in Kansas City! Brrr!

Some of my favorite new products include a moisturizing face mask, bright eye shadows, a refreshing face mist, great new products from Yes to and a yummy sweet and salty snack.

And the face and neck oil keeps my parched skin soft without being greasy.

Now for something different, and sweet. Snappers Crunchy and Salty and Sweet Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramel ($9.99 USD for a 24 oz. bag at COSTCO) — These are the perfect blend of smooth dark chocolate, creamy caramel, and crunchy pretzel topped with a hint of sea salt.

What I think: These are so yummy! The crunchy pretzels topped with the soft caramel rich dark chocolate are paired with a pinch of salt. They are delicious and you need only one or two at a time to tame sweet cravings!

Product Round-Up — My Fave Beauty Things Week of November 24-30, 2014

How was your Thanksgiving? Did you eat and shop too much? I definitely did! But, I still have a lot more shopping to do!

This week I’m loving dry skin fighting skincare, a tropical scented deodorant and a self-tanner that is giving me a healthy glow. It’s important to keep looking and feeling good during this stressful time of year!

CapriClear Spray On Moisturizer ($19.99 for 5.2 oz and $10.99 for 1.9 oz) — Made with 100% fractionated coconut oil, this all-natural, paraben-free treatment combats dry, flaky, irritated skin, making it soft and silky. Conceived by a dermatologist, fragrance-free CapriClear is an exceptionally pure, gentle and effective single-ingredient solution for even the most sensitive skin. It also has the eczema seal of approval and is safe for the entire family. Plus, it results in soft, silky skin.

What I think: I have been experiencing some dry patches on my sensitive skin. I have started using this at night and my skin is much smoother in the morning. Just a little bit goes a long way, as this is very moisturizing.

It’s almost Thanksgiving! Can you believe it? Are you looking forward to turkey day? And more importantly, have you changed up your look for the fall/winter yet?

This week, I have been loving fall inspired beauty products, a great new brow gel, a nourishing facial oil, pretty new makeup and great products to keep hair in place this winter.

What I think: I received this in Universal Taupe which is too light for me (my brows are almost black), but I tried it and it did cover well and last a very long time. I do love how blendable it is and it looks very natural on.

What I think: I received these items to help keep my hair looking fab through the holdiays and winter. The brush is so cool. My whole family has tried it and it makes all types of hair instantly smooth and shiny. We all love it (and it would make a great gift)

After washing my hair today, I applied the serum to my wet hair. When it dried, it was so soft and shiny! I then applied a little Secret Weapon to my dry hair to make it look even better (keep in mind that my hair is usually a dry, frizzy mess)!

Product Round-Up — My Fave Beauty Things Week of November 10 — 16, 2014

It’s so cold outside in Kansas City…brrr! I try not to go outside in the cold air, but when I do, I can feel my face and lips cracking from the freezing air! So dry!

So, this week I’m loving products that will help my dry and chapped skin. I have been testing great skin care, lip balms and body products to help me for what I hope is not too cold a winter.

My faves are:

Pür Minerals M.M.C. Anti-Aging Moisture Complex ($38 USD) — Feed your skin with anti-oxidants and protect it from free radicals. This anti-aging, hydrating cream has been shown to improve skin texture and tone in as little as 10 days. The M.M.C. What I think: This is perfect for my recently dry skin from the cold air. I love using this as my night cream. I have noticed my skin is smoother and really soft in the morning.
