It’s so cold outside in Kansas City…brrr! I try not to go outside in the cold air, but when I do, I can feel my face and lips cracking from the freezing air! So dry!
So, this week I’m loving products that will help my dry and chapped skin. I have been testing great skin care, lip balms and body products to help me for what I hope is not too cold a winter.
My faves are:
Pür Minerals M.M.C. Anti-Aging Moisture Complex ($38 USD) — Feed your skin with anti-oxidants and protect it from free radicals. This anti-aging, hydrating cream has been shown to improve skin texture and tone in as little as 10 days. The M.M.C. Anti-Aging Moisture Complex is free of chemical dyes and contains key ingredients that detoxify, condition and renew the skin.
What I think: This is perfect for my recently dry skin from the cold air. I love using this as my night cream. I have noticed my skin is smoother and really soft in the morning.

Soap and Paper Factory Shea Lip Butter ($9 USD) — These Lip Butters are packed with Shea Butter, and totally emollient! They offer three fragrances, each made with PURE essential oils — Blood Orange (above), Limoncello, and Mint Julep. These butters are long lasting, and will keep your kisser soft and supple. A sweet, vintage inspired design comes with a mirror.
What I think: Love these. They each smell amazing and are so moisturizing on the lips. Perfect for throwing in a purse or pocket for continued moisturization throughout the day.

Tammy Fender Essential C Tonic ($55 USD) — Steeped with antioxidant-rich Green Tea, this formula purifies and invigorates the complexion, while acting as a natural toner to restore the pH balance of the skin.
What I think: Such an amazing natural toner. I love the fresh scent of this and the fact that it doesn’t dry out my skin at all. My skin is softer after using, which is rare from a toner. I highly recommend this product!

Mad Hippie Face Cream ($25.99 USD) — Formulated with 12 actives including peptides, acai, argan oil and resveratrol, the Mad Hippie Face Cream reduces the appearance of wrinkles and creates smooth, healthy skin. The peptides and actives kick-start collagen production while Mother Nature’s best antioxidants neutralize aging free radicals.
What I think: If you are looking for an effective natural moisturizer, this one may be perfect for you! It has so many good-for-you ingredients that leave skin so soft! I have noticed that my skin does appear younger (my laugh lines less noticeable) since I have been using this cream!

Rituals Laughing Buddha Good Luck Scrub ($29 USD) — Luxury combination of organic sugar and wonderful softening oils. Specially developed to nourish and revitalize even the driest of skins. The natural ingredients Sweet Orange & Cedar produce a wonderfully warm aroma. Use the body scrub once or twice a week for a soft and glowing skin.
What I think: This scrub smells wonderful, like the holidays! And it really softens my skin and removes any dry skin. A little goes a long way to super smooth skin!

Korres Guava Lip Butter ($12 USD) — This beautifully scented, creamy body butter are enriched with shea butter and quince extract to soften, moisturize, and rejuvenate the skin. Sunflower, almond, and avocado oils nourish, thus helping to improve elasticity and smoothness.
What I think: Both of these products are highly moisturizing. The lip butter is not tinted which is perfect for everyday and every night use. It really softens my dry lips. The lotion is also really softening. I use it after showers and at night to keep my skin (I love using it on my legs) hydrated.
