I love changing my lip color a bit with the seasons. Spring makes me think of softer and brighter colors. I won’t go too bright, but I do love a good coral, pink and peach!

What I think: The color I have been testing is Rikki. It is described as a bubble gum pink, but I think it’s more of a pretty rose. What I think: The moisture tint is a beautiful choice if you want a lighter formula foundation. I like how it blends in and looks completely natural. The Tint in Bare (a nude) is really pretty on cheeks and lips for an everyday fresh look. I am loving the Lip Sheer, it gives a soft, matte look that is perfect for spring. The only thing I don’t like about it is that the black finish on the case is coming off and it makes it look like I’ve had it for a very long time, when it is new.

What I think: This is such a fun makeup line. I love the eyes shadow and eyeliner together. It makes a fun shimmery smoky eye. And the Lip Plum is perfect because it doesn’t irritate my lips, but does make them look fuller. And the packaging for all of the items is so glamorous!
I am wearing sparkling raspberry and gold nail polish for Valentine’s Day. I love the rich colors and the glitz, but I am starting to yearn for warmer weather and softer colors of clothes and makeup!
Many current winter and spring cosmetics are made of soft shades and textures. I was sent the below products for my honest opinion — and I can honestly say that I am loving this look!
Laura Mercier Metallic Crème Eye Colour

What I think: I was lucky to test the Metallic Crème Eye Colour ($23 USD) It is a lightweight, non-greasy, lush metallic formula that floats across the eye leaving a gorgeous, shimmering sheen. I really love the shade Golden Mist. It is a limited edition shade that is so pretty swept across my whole eyelid, with our without a contour color.

Bobbi Brown Nude Glow Collection
Bobbi Brown’s Nude Glow Collection features three sets of products designed to add luminosity and brighten your look during the winter months.
In the above photo, you can see the Limited Eye Palettes in Crystal, Nude and Bronze and the Sheer Lip Color in Pink Flush, Pink Gold and Pink Rose. These are the products from the collection I tested.
What I think: The eye palettes are gorgeous. I love layering a sparkly color over a shimmer or matte. So pretty for going out. The Lip colors are sheer and pretty! I love the Pink Gold, but they are all gorgeous!

Tarte Cheek Stain in Fearless
Tarte’s spring collection is full of beautiful, fresh hues and products. There are eight beautiful shades of the cheek stain (Fearless, a pink-coral is my favorite) and eight matching shades in the Power Pigment lip crayon. The colors are all gorgeous!
The Spring collection also includes the be MATTEnificent colored clay eye & cheek palette. This includes fresh, pretty colors. I haven’t tried the palette, but I might have to pick it up!
What I think: Beautiful colors for any complexion and the formulas stay all day. Love!

This set includes lots of new products, including 4 world-wide launches. I am loving the CC primer, which is new to me. It glides over the skin and blends in so nicely. I have been using it with a little concealer and no foundation. But, the liquid foundation is very nice for a more polished look. I love the container it comes in, too! It looks like it should hold powder. But it is liquid, not cream. You apply it with the cool brush that fits in the opening.
I am also enjoying the new eyeliner — very smooth — and the mascara which is one of my favorites.
The new bronzer blush is gorgeous, I can see that it will be a perfect multi-tasker product for summer.
The lip gloss is too bright for me, but it is a gorgeous color!

Happy new year! I try a lot of skincare, makeup, hair care etc. each year. I am now in my 5th year of my fabulous blog (coming up to my 1000th post! What I think: This foundation feels so natural on! It gives light to medium coverage and I love that it is good for my skin! With twelve shades, its easy to get a great match.

What I think: I have this in Naked, the nude shade 4th from the left and the red called Hollywood. They are full coverage, and feel great on! Not sticky at all!
beautyAddicts GlimmerSHEERS ($28 USD) — Ultimate duo designed to highlight and luminize eyes, face and cheeks. Unique formulas in complementary shades: Glimmer – a soft focus luminizing luster for a sun-kissed, elegant sheen. Sheer – a crystal clear balm that hydrates and enhances glowing skin.
What I think: This is a cool product! I have it in Glow, which is a purplish hue. This makes a great eye shadow and I love to put the clear balm on the top of my cheeks for a little shine.
Sensai 38°C Mascara ($32 USD) — Sensai promises this mascara will resist tears of holiday laughter and watery eyes from gusty winds! The 38°Cstands for 38 degrees Celsius, as it’s the temperature of water required to melt the mascara off your lashes.
What I think: This is a great waterproof mascara! It stays on all day and is buildable so you can have a more natural look, or go glam with lots of volume! This has become my everyday mascara.
What I think: I put a few drops of this treatment in my damp hair before styling. It makes my hair so soft. Then I use a bit more on my dry hair to keep the flyaways down and to make it very shiny. Love!

I like the normal Celebration Foundation, but it is a little too matte for me. This illumination is great. The shade I received is medium, and its a bit dark for my skin tone. But I can tell that it will give a more moisturized look and a great glow. The foundation brush is so soft and gives a flawless finish!
