My Beauty Faves Week of March 2-8, 2015

It has been so warm in Kansas City the last couple of days that it feels like Spring! My skin is still trying to get over the cold and it is so dry! So I am still loving products that moisturize and get me ready for the longer days ahead! My faves this week include a hydrating facial mask, a velvety eye cream, floss picks that whiten, affordable luxury makeup brushes and a cool light-up lip gloss!

Hada Labo Tokyo Ultimate Anti-Aging Facial Mask ($14.99 USD) — This sheet mask is the perfect option for a spa treatment at home. In 10 minutes this mask delivers an immediate boost of hydration using Hyaluronic Acid to keep skin looking smooth and restored. The box included 4 masks! What I think: This hydrating sheet mask is so easy to use. I just apply it to clean skin and 10 minutes later, I have super soft skin! And it doesn’t irritate my super sensitive skin! Product Round-Up — My Fave Beauty Things Week of September 8, 2014!

We are a couple of weeks into September and it is cooling down and feeling like fall. I am into pumpkin spice lattes, candy corn and… tropical fragrances! I guess I’m not yet ready to let go of summer.

This week I am loving a mini makeup applicator, a quick skin smoothing facial, yummy bath and fragrance products that smell like coconut, a tropical scented perfume and a fresh facial mist.

What I think: This is so easy to use. Just apply it to a dry face, massage it in, add water that will activate the Vitamin C in the gel. Leave it on a minute and rinse off. Skin is so soft and firm! I think I will use this once a week for younger looking skin.

What I think: This is a great curling iron! I tried the 1.25″ size and it gave me big curls that I brushed out into soft waves — very pretty.
