I received Charmsies for my honest review. Today, I tried them out on my 10-year-old daughter and myself. They took a little practice, but we both now have sparly charms in our hair! Olivia has the iridescent hearts and I have a silver mix. So fun!

What I think: This matte cream bronzer is an easy way to add some color this summer (or all year ’round). It is very natural looking. You can use it all over for a sunny glow. I like to use it as contour. I apply it in the hollows of my cheeks and along my jawbone for definition and shadows. It is easy to build up darker color if you wish.
Algenist Hydrating Essence Toner ($25 USD 5 fl. oz.) –This hydrating toner combines alguronic acid with witch hazel and chamomile to tone and soothe skin gently, creating a complexion that appears revitalized, brightened, and softened. The formula replenishes and balances skin’s moisture levels, purifies, and prepares skin to absorb serums and moisturizers more efficiently.
What I think: I love using toners in the summer. I have been keeping this in the refrigerator to keep my skin cool. I have noticed that my kin feels cleaner and softer while using this.
I don’t really have a signature fragrance and I’m not really looking for one, because I love using new scents. I think it’s time to switch up my summer scent and try something new.

What I think: This gorgeous palette will give you great day and night looks. The eye shadows are so flattering and will work well now, and as we go into fall. Plus, Park Avenue Princess is one of my all-time favorite bronzers. It’s a subtle, lighter shade, but is really pretty on!

What I think: I love trying new mascaras! I love that this has Argan Oil in it. The brush is molded plastic and is medium-sized. I tried it and — wow! I noticed instant separation and length and since it is very buildable, in a couple of coats I had tons of volume as well. It is so good — and good for my lashes!

What I think: I do love my lip gloss! This is such a pretty soft, coral and it’s perfect for the summer. The gloss itself does last a long time and is makes my lips soft — and isn’t sticky. Yay!
We have had a pretty hot week here in Kansas City, but it is finally cooling down a little, yay! I am still trying out new summer products to help me with the heat.

We had a fairly cool week (mid to high 70’s) in Kansas City, and I have been loving it. It is heating up again (taking my girls to the water park this weekend), so we are trying to stay cool!

This week, I have been loving a new drugstore mascara, an acne treatment, new sunglasses (needed), kajal eyeliners (hot trend), a luxe face oil and a sheer red lip. What have you been loving this week?
L’Oreal Mega Volume Miss Manga Mascara

What I think: I love trying new mascaras — and the mascara wand on this is different than any other I have used. Not only is it conical-shaped, it moves to the side when you use it. It took a couple of times, but if I apply it carefully, I get super long and voluminous lashes! It isn’t waterproof and has been running a bit in the Kansas City humidity, so I can’t wear it daily, but is perfect for special occasions.

What I think: I am really digging the Kajal trend! These liners are so easy to use. The handle make for easy maneuvering and the liners glide on easily and are very pigment. The nude is great on the waterline and the black is so rich and gorgeous!

What I think: I don’t usually wear red lip color, but this is very sheer and is pretty for going out in the summer time. It looks especially nice on me since I am no longer ghostly white! It also very moisturizing on my lips and doesn’t dry them out at all.
