Get Your Skin Ready For Fall Part 3 — Luxury Skincare

Part 3? Yes! I have received for my honest review and have been testing so many great skincare products this late summer and early fall!

I would classify the following products as luxury skincare. They are perfect for when you want to splurge on your anti-aging skincare regimen and try something new!

ASAP Daily Exfoliating Facial Scrub ($49 USD) Prep yourself for the cold weather ahead and repair your summer sun damage with a one-step skin savior, ASAP Daily Exfoliating Facial Scrub. The fan favorite uses smooth, round beads and alpha hydroxyl acids (AHAs) to gently remove dead skin cells and unclog pores without causing irritation. This unique dual-exfoliation action is scientifically formulated to promote cell renewal and collagen production to improve the appearance and texture of skin, while helping to minimize wrinkles, acne and sun damage.

What I think: This exfoliator is great for all skin types, even sensitive skin. To use, apply to face and keep on for a minute or two before you scrub and rinse. Skin will be super smooth afterwards!

L’Occitane Iris Angelica Sublime Essence ($52 USD) A fresh, sheer, first-step formula which helps to correct skin irregularities and reduce redness. Skin’s texture appears visibly refined, pores quickly feel tighter and skin looks more radiant.

What I think: I love the light texture of this serum. It immediately smooths the skin and helps reduce my redness. It also has a light floral scent.

MitoQ Anti-Aging Serum ($185 USD) Need to revive your skin’s natural glow and vanish your exhausted eye wrinkles? What I think: This beauty lotions feels so nice on the skin and smells amazing! I love the natural ingredients and how calming this is. Use this before serum and moisturizer.

Vine Vera Resveratrol Chianti Revival Serum ($346 USD) This blend of Resveratrol, Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid), Palmitoyl Oligopeptide and the hydrating ingredient Sodium Hyaluronate, work as a magnificent formulation to reduce the appearance of wrinkles. This serum will leave your skin feeling softer, looking more radiant and refreshed.

What I think: Talk about luxury! This serum may be too spendy for most of our budgets, but if you want a real splurge, here it is! This silky serum sinks into the skin. I have only used it for a few days, but I am hoping for some great results!

New Skin Care by Radical Skincare and Algenist

As the weather starts to get cooler, I find myself really wanting to take care of my skin and get it ready for the cold winter. The following products have been brightening my skin and making it looks smooth and gorgeous!

Algenist Triple-Action Micropolish & Peel ($75 USD) — Leveraging the science of biotechnology, this advanced microdermabrasion peel resurfaces the skin with a 10% acid duo (patent-pending Alguronic Acid + Glycolic Acid) in a potent combination with a 10% fruit enzyme complex and micro polishing crystals to immediately transform skin texture & tone.

What I think: This is a very effective exfoliant, but it is a little harsh for my sensitive skin. I find that if I leave it on for just a couple of minutes, my skin does not get too irritated, but it does get a little red. What I think — I smooth the serum gently onto face and neck using slow, upward strokes in the morning and evening. I love the light texture and how easily it absorbs into my skin. It brightens my skin immediately!

What I think: This lotion is amazing! You only need one small squirt for both hands and arms. It is cooling and so silky on. This is perfect for after shaving or spending time in the sun (with sunscreen on, of course)! It has a pretty strong herbal scent, but it’s not unpleasant.

M.A.C. False Lashes ($19 USD) Fashionably false in look, but honestly real, this mascara’s key benefits of volume and curl are matched by a dramatic end look. The unique edge: the ultra-thickening formula in combo with the plush-’em-up action of its unique double-lush brush.

What I think: I have never tried a M.A.C. mascara and was excited to try this one. I have mixed feelings about this mascara. It does add length, but does not thicken unless you use a lot of coats, then it ends up clumping. It also runs very easily, and since I have allergies, it starts running shortly after I apply it. So yay on length and boo on volume and wearability.

Neutrogena Ultra Gentle Soothing Lotion SPF 15

What I think: My skin becomes more sensitive the older I get. So I was happy to try this gentle daily moisturizer. It is not greasy and really soothes my red cheeks everyday I also love the SPF 15 that is in the product. I have been applying moisturizer and SPF separately and this is much more convenient and way less heavy feeling.
