Hi all! This is the second week in a row that I’m late on my favorites post! I’ve been busy and lazy — but I’m glad I’m getting it out!
It has been cooling down a bit in Kansas City, which is so nice. It’s still in low 80’s high 70’s, but still — so much better that high 90’s!
This week I have been loving a hydrating mask, frizz-controlling shampoo and conditioner, and an empty palette that can be filled with pans of makeup to make your perfect palette!

What I think: These smell amazing! I love using any products that smells tropical. After using both products my hair is soft and frizz free. I love that they are safe for my color treated hair and are natural and organic.

What I think: This is such a cool product. To use this, find color makeup that is in separate pots, or in a palette where you only use one or two of the colors. Then take it out of the pot, affix an included magnetic sticker and arrange in the palette. Then you can take anywhere!
My only issue is that I haven’t been successful in depoting the couple of makeup pots I’ve tried (and I’ve followed directions). But I am going to keep trying because I have so much makeup I keep in drawers and bins. I would love to arrange them in one palette so they will get used!
As the weather gets warmer, I am looking to softer, Spring-y colors in clothing and in makeup! I am getting so excited for sunny days and warmer nights!

What I think: This is a beautifully sheer blush. It’s packaged in a little pot with a mesh top. I dab my fingers or brush into it and apply on the apples of my cheeks. I have the coral blush, and it gives a soft glow of color. It has a little shimmer in it, which I love. It’s so pretty on!

What I think: The crème blush is so pretty on. Just a little goes a long way and it really gives a glow. I dab a little on with my fingers and blend. It’s a very universal pink and I think it would look amazing on all skin tones!
The lipstick is a pretty, bright pink (on my very fair skin).

What I think: These are so pretty! I love how easy they are to apply, swipe on and blend. And the versatility is amazing! You can wear them sheer, or build for a more dramatic or a smoky look. I receive these in Royal Plum and Burnished Bronze. Both are so pretty for day or night. You can even wear two or more, by using one for the lid and one in the crease. They stay put all day. LOVE!

What I think: This muted orange colored hand cream is so moisturizing. It has a spicy (not sweet), natural pumpkin fragrance. I love that it is organic and all natural. Perfect to help hands stay hydrated during the cold season.

What I think: If you are looking for a sweet, pumpkin scent, try this natural perfume.
Bath and Body Works Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte Hand Soap

What I think: I love purchasing Bath and Body Works hand soaps once a season. They have tons of great Fall (and Winter) scents, and that means many different pumpkin soaps! I like this one because it is sweet and creamy — you can smell the pumpkin, coffee and even the marshmallow! I keep this one in my bathroom! Don’t forget to check out their sales, I always try to get my soaps on the 5 for $18 sales, but they are usually 4 for $15, which is a great deal, too.
I use different skincare products different times of the year. For example, when the air turns cooler and drier I tend to use heavier moisturizers and oils. The air is so dry in the Fall and Winter in Kansas City, so I need to hydrate!

What I think: Both of these product are made for dry skin. They also work well on my sensitive skin if used at night (they are a little heavy as day products for my skin). The oil gelee (which is mostly like an oil) works well when my skin is parched. It sinks in and soothes it. The cream is so hydrating and works well as a night cream. I think these will be wonderful when it’s cold and dry out.
