I was recently sent the Trufora 7 Piece Complete Anti-Aging Skincare System ($380.00 value for $228) for my honest review. The brand’s claim is that it’s dermatologist recommended & clinically proven skincare delivers a complete anti-aging regimen for visible results without irritation or harmful ingredients.

• Ultimate Facial Cleanser (120 ml / 4 fl. oz.)
• Triple Action Exfoliator (60 ml / 2 fl. oz.)
• Day Serum 85 (15 ml / .5 fl. oz.) – Patent Pending
• Titanium Day Cream SPF 30 Broad Spectrum Sunscreen (30 ml / 1 fl. oz.) – Patent Pending
• Night Serum 85 (15 ml / .5 fl. oz.) – Patent Pending
• Intensive Night Treatment (30 ml / 1 fl. oz.)
• Perfecting Eye Treatment (7.5 ml / .25 fl. oz.)
What I think: I have been testing these products for a couple of weeks and am really enjoying them. I love how it is a complete system that works so well together. My skin is so hydrated and smooth. It has also evened out my skin tone and my fine lines are a lot less noticeable.
One of my favorite products is the Exfoliator. It works in three ways: Chemical exfoliation from AHAs and BHAs is combined with physical exfoliation from Bamboo along with a deep, cleansing mask action from Kaolin clay. I use is a few times a week and it has really cleansed my skin and leaves it so soft! My pores look smaller, too!
I also love the Night Serum and Treatment. The serum is creamy and instantly sinks into my skin when applied. The treatment is a bit richer. Both leave my skin feeling amazing, really soft. And by the morning, my skin looks fresh and glowing.
The one product I’m still trying to figure out is the Titanium Day Cream. It’s a dark pinky-brown, which kind of shocked me when I first used it! My skin is very light and it darkened it a bit, and left it a little sparkly. If I put foundation and powder over it, it looks better. But, I don’t know if I will continue using it.
I will use all of the other products. I love that they are natural and organic. I feel like I’m feeding my skin great ingredients when I use them. I would purchase most of these products in the future!
There are so many wonderful natural beauty products on the market these days include natural skincare and hair care. I find that not only are these products better for you, they are very effective.
Below are some of my current favorite natural hair care and skin care. Leave a comment letting me know some of your favorites — I would love ideas for what to try next!
L’Occitane Peony Collection
The peony, known as the “king of flowers” is valued for its unparalleled beauty and rarity. Embracing the absolute perfection of this elegant bloom, L’OCCITANE’s newest skincare collection helps to achieve a natural-looking complexion with their proprietary, Perfecting Peony Complex. Peony extract and mineral-based optical correctors help to visibly correct skin texture irregularities and minimize the appearance of pores and fine lines for stunningly beautiful, luminous skin.
What I think: I have been testing (and loving) this collection. The products left to right are the Peony Perfecting Essence, the Peony CC Skin Tone Perfecting Cream, the Peony Perfecting Cream and the Peony Perfecting Mist. They all have a lovely light floral scent. Used together, the skin care leaves my skin soft and glowing. The CC cream starts out white and blends to my skin tone. It gives a nice light coverage and my skin is smooth and even with use.

Eye Cream
Mad Hippie Eye Cream ($24.99 USD) — From the dreaded crows feet to those tiring bags under the eyes, uniting the power of peptides & antioxidants, this product packs a punch. Contains a peptide formula that reduces dark circles under the eyes. Works to strengthen capillaries & veins, while increasing lymphatic drainage & circulation. Effectively increases firmness and elasticity of skin, while reducing swelling.
What I think: This is such a light cream that instantly absorbs into my skin. It hydrates the skin under my eyes and helps make the fine lines less noticeable. I use it day and night (I’m never without an eye cream). This one is affordable and works really well (and it’s natural)!
Oil Essentials ($12.99 USD): A collection of natural beauty oils that nourish and heal to deliver healthy, shiny hair and youthful hands and nails. Packed with powerful yet gentle extracts from Mother Nature’s most nourishing plants and fruits, these luxurious oils inspire the senses with essential oils while providing glowing beauty benefits. Argan & Wheat Germ – Aqua
Omega 3,6,9 & Evening Primrose

Sweet Almond & Macadamia
Lavender & Rose Hip
What I think: I always like to have natural oils around for my hair, cuticles and elbows. All of the above oils will moisturize and heal, but my favorite is the Sweet Almond & Macadamia because it prevents loss of moisture in hair and skin. It smells amazing. I love how it sinks into my skin and leaves it so soft!

Salon Grafix Healthy Hair Nutrition Conditioning Cleanser
Salon Grafix Healthy Hair Nutrition Collection ($7.99 USD): An alternative to harsh shampoos and conditioners. The multi-purpose sulfate and paraben-free cleansers are formulated to rebalance natural oils with pure ingredients, leaving hair clean, soft and full of body. The single step hair care regimen replaces shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner, detangler, and leave-in conditioner with these amazing sulfate-free Conditioning Cleansers.
What I think: I have been testing the Conditioning Cleanser for Dry or Damaged Hair. It smell creamy and a little spicy — the scent is Moroccan Macadamia. I use it in place of shampoo and conditioner, I just work it in my wet hair, leave it in for a few minutes and rinse. My hair is soft and manageable afterwards and is not left dry by shampoo.
This week I have been trying to tame my flyaway hair and sooth my chapped skin as I get ready for the holidays.
I have been loving a new (to me) haircare line, a new gel mask, organic skin care, coconut oil body care, and a very moisturizing body lotion:
evo ritual salvation shampoo
evo day of grace leave-in conditioner
evo icon welder hot tool shaper
evo haircare — Using a good shampoo and conditioner to build moisture and strength in your hair is the most important step. You need to fill in the gaps in the hair’s health and then use your hot tools to seal that in. It will make your style last longer and give better shine and quality hair. Ritual Salvation Shampoo ($24 USD) and Conditioner ($24 USD) from evo have a repair and hydration factor as well as a UV/UVB factor without being heavy or greasy.
Once the hair is prepped, a good leave-in conditioner will create an even porosity and also an extra layer of moisture to counteract against the heat. Day of Grace ($24 USD) leave in conditioner spray is totally weightless and will give an extra UVA/UVB protection for all hair types.
Icon Welder ($25 USD) by evo is one of the most versatile heat protectors on the market. While giving the hair amazing protection from hot tools, it also has a hold and shine factor that will keep your style in place as well as being completely brushable. Spray over the whole head wet and dry in or spray in dry and brush in before heat styling.
What I think — First of all, I love the fresh scents of this line. It leaves hair smelling amazing! The shampoo leaves my hair soft and shiny. I like that it helps the strength of my hair. The leave in conditioner is light so it doesn’t weigh my hair down, but it does give extra moisture, which is great since my hair is so dry now. I love using a hair protector when I dry or straighten it.
Meme Mask ($3 each or $10 for a pack of 5) Korean sheet masks have long received global accolade for their intense moisturizing powers. In November, Memebox brings this K-beauty secret to the international arena with their one-step skin prepping must-have, Meme Mask. This gel mask harnesses the powers of hydration to rejuvenate skin, leaving it smooth and restored. More hydrating than a traditional paper sheet mask, the gel minimizes inflammation and controls sebum production, helping to soothe problem areas around the T-zone.
What I think: This is a very affordable way to add extra moisture to my parched skin. This has a very cool texture and feels amazing on. The directions said to apply for 20-40 minutes, so I used it for 30 and it left my skin very soft.
Avalon Organics Age-Less — For radiant skin that glows with good health, Avalon® Age-Less facial care is a daily dose of vitamins and age-defying nourishment. Featuring a perfectly calibrated multivitamin complex of Vitamins A, B, C, D, E and K plus powerful antioxidants and quenching moisture, this anti-aging skin care regimen helps to improve skin’s clarity, tone and texture, fend off lines and wrinkles and restore radiance.
The products are:
· Age-less Cleansing Milk ($9.99)
· Age-less Revitalizing Cream ($15.99)
· Age-less Illuminating Serum ($19.99)
· Age-less SPF 15 Daily Moisturizer ($15.99)
What I think — I love trying organic and natural skin care and was excited to try a new skin care regimen. The line has a fresh citrus scent that I really like. All of the products are very creamy and thick, but do not leave my skin feeling greasy at all. I have only been using these products for about a week, but I do like how they quench my skin and help with the tone and texture of my skin. I will keep using them to see if they help the fine lines around my eyes.

What I think: The coconut oil was surprising at first because it is hard, but melts into an oil. It is very moisturizing. The body wash makes an amazing shaving cream. And, I love keeping the hand and body lotion near to smooth on when my skin feels dry.

Alba Botanica Very Emollient Body Lotion Coconut Rescue
Alba Botanica Very Emollient Body Lotion Coconut Rescue (14.99 32 oz) — This ultra-moisturizing lotioninstantly delivers potent hydration and a hearty dose of antioxidants with a unique blend of unrefined Coconut Oil, Coconut Milk and Shea Butter. While Coconut Oil is all the craze in the beauty industry, this Alba lotion is unique, as it uses only unrefined, virgin coconut oil that is cold pressed from fresh coconut meat without the use of damaging heat or potentially irritating chemicals. This process allows it to maintain more skin nourishing phytochemicals, vitamins and antioxidants that provide immediate relief to even the driest skin.
What I think: Coconut oil is such a popular ingredient these days! This is fantastic on skin right after the shower or bath. It locks in the moisture and leaves my skin so soft! It’s also a great price for the amount that you get.

Mama Mio is a skin care brand that began specializing in helping pregnant women with their skin care needs. Now, besides pregnancy skin care, Mama Mio creates safe products that give strong, elastic, healthy, well-toned, and fit skin.
I tried the Boob Tube (funny!) Bust & Neck Firmer ($45.00 USD). As the website so sadly states, “Girls, let’s face the facts, our boobs are on a slippery slope heading south. People say the first place you can tell a woman’s age is her hands. Forget about it – it’s your décolletage.” This is because the chest and neck are exposed a lot of the time, (of course not the whole chest). The skin is exposed to the sun and gravity. Use Boob Tube claims to “fight sag and droop by improving skin’s strength and elasticity. It gives you a more beautifully textured, well toned neck and bustline. Boob Tube has become our best-selling sensation which means there will be a lot of gorgeous cleavage out there, thanks to Boob Tube.”
I really like this product. I have been using it on my next and chest every morning and evening. I don’t know if my skin has become firmer, but it looks smooth, especially my neck and upper chest area. It has a pleasant citrusy scent that reminds me of lemon-lime soda. It contains CoQ10, Avocado Oil, Fenugreek, Shea Butter and Milk Thistle. It does not contain Parabens which is great.

Being 40 (-ish), I am always looking for skin care that can slow down the aging process. I am fairly lucky with my skin (not many wrinkles), but I do have red areas and larger pores, which help show that my skin is not as young as it used to be!
Annemarie Linder is a German pioneer of natural cosmetics and co-founder of Borlind cosmetics. She devotes her passion to creating natural beauty products like the System Absolute (advanced skin care for mature skin) that I have recently tested.
Borlind’s System Absolute claims to deliver valuable botanical hydrating ingredients and potent antioxidant vitamins deep into the skin. The products I have tried are:
System Absolute Cleanser ($53.99, 5.07 oz): A creamy emulsion which gently, yet thoroughly, removes dirt, makeup, and other pollutants. This smells great and is refreshing as it cleans.
System Absolute Beauty Fluid ($92.99, 1.7 oz) : A potent antioxidant gel which hydrates and strengthens skin’s resistance to environmental damage. I love this light gel that instantly absorbs into the skin and gives my skin a nice glow.
System Absolute Day Cream ($109.99, 1.7 oz): A rich cream which provides intensive hydration, care, and protection against environmental damage. This cream is nice, but is a bit heavy for me. I have to wait a while after application to put my makeup on.
System Absolute Night Cream ($109.99, 1.7 oz): A luxurious cream which works to smooth, restore suppleness, repair environmental damage, support regeneration, and replenish moisture and oil. The cream is too heavy for me that it borders on greasy. My skin does look good in the morning after use, but I have been breaking out.
After a few weeks of trying these products, I have found that I really like them. I do think they are made for skin a little more mature than mine, but I will continue to use the cleanser and beauty fluid as I enjoy the feeling and results I get with these products.
Visit www.borlind.com to learn more and to purchase these products or items from their other skin care collections. Enjoy!
