What I think: My husband has been testing these products for a couple of weeks now. He really likes the shampoo and conditioner and says that they leave his hair very soft. He didn’t notice the scent, but I think it is very light and fresh. I think his hair looks a little fuller, but he will keep using it and we will see!
The gel holds well but isn’t sticky at all. It think it’s a great match for men who want to keep their style looking fresh all day!

This week, I am loving a mixed group of beauty products including a whitening toothpaste, a lash enhancer, a hair color marker, and a luxe soap-on-a-rope:

What I think: I love this marker! I really need to color my gray roots, but I have been so lazy lately. This works like magic. I just “color” the grays with the marker, then comb the area with the little comb included. It is so natural looking and the Dark Brown color is a perfect match for my hair. It lasts until I wash it out and doesn’t rub off.

What I think: I was sent these wonderful soaps in Rose of Damascus and Tuberose. They both smell amazing and really fresh. They come on a small rope and can be hung up in the shower. Beautiful, fragrant and functional — very luxurious!
As it gets warmer in Kansas City, I know that with the heat comes the frizz — my poor hair!

What I think: I love the shampoo for my colored treated hair. It is so gentle but cleans very well. The leave in conditioner smells so nice! It is easy to use, just apply a small amount to cleansed hair, and either air or blow dry. The toning mist leaves my hair smooth and shiny, but I am not much of a fan of the vinegar smell. It does go away after awhile. Yay! I really love that it seals my hair cuticle to keep the frizz away.

What I think: I received the four lightest shades, 40-43. They are all perfect for my skintone. I think 41 is my favorite, because it has a pink tone to it. What I think: Even though it is a huge trend, I haven’t tried many matte lipsticks. I do like this one. It is affordable and the nude is a great color. When I applied it, it dried down to a moisturizing matte, and it wasn’t drying at all. I have issues with lipstick traveling under my lip, but this didn’t!

What I think: I love some volume in my hair, so I was excited to try these products. Both products do add lots of volume. I apply the mousse on damp hair and it doesn’t leave it sticky. I dry my hair and add the hairspray. It keeps the volume going. I also like to spray my hair, pile it up on the top of my head and let it dry. When I take my hair down, it is big and bouncy. Fun for going out!

We had a surprise snow last night. I knew it was going to be in the single digits today in temperature, but I didn’t know it was going to snow. I think I’m done with winter. I am definitely looking toward to spring!
To keep my skin soft this week I’m loving a hydrating face fluid, a body oil and moisturizing body lotion. I am also loving cooling body wipes (great for the gym) and a maximum hold hair spray.

The combing cream detangles my hair, and my daughter’s, so easily. A little goes a long way and leaves hair soft!
The Ocean products smell amazing! The lotion is my favorite as it is so moisturizing, it feels like butta! I like to use the dry oil body spray after taking a shower. It leaves my skin smooth. This kit is a great deal, too!

What I think: I love the BB matte foundation! Most of the BB’s I have tried are heavy on and a bit greasy. This turns matte on skin, but not dry. The powder is perfect for days that you want the coverage in an instant. It also give a matte finish. The bronzer is glowy without being a glitter bomb. I have it in Light Bronze and it is the perfect amount of color for my pale skin! These are very effective and so affordable!
