Hi All! I hope you are having a great weekend! I’m back with another gift guide the focuses on a few items that you may not have thought about gifting — but that someone in your life may really love!
I was sent the following items for my honest review:
IQAir Atem 5 in 1 Personal Air Purifier
IQAir AirVisual Plus
I have severe pollen and dog allergies (and we have a Great Dane), so I was excited to try these. And they both work so well. Our air is so much cleaner and we can tell when the quality is low and we need to use the air purifier or to open a window.
IQAir Atem 5 in 1 Personal Air Purifier ($399 USD). It comes in white or black. It is perfect for a bedside, on a desk, in a nursery, in a car or in a hotel room. Atem 5 in 1 is the most versatile air purifier on the market, and it has won two awards including the TWICE VIP award and the GIA Innovation award. Atem is perfect for those concerned about poor air quality because air quality affects everything from mental health to beauty.
IQAir AirVisual Pro ($269 USD) is also a great gift for anyone who is concerned about the health and well-being of themselves and their families. The AirVisual Pro gives air quality readings and also actionable information about how to improve your air quality, whether it is a good idea to exercise outdoors, an air quality forecast, as well as temperature and humidity readings. AirVisual Pro is accompanied by the AirVisual App, the most popular air quality App in the world, which allows the monitoring of outdoor air quality as well as indoor air quality regardless of where the user is.
These have really helped my families air quality! They can be purchased at IQAir.com or Amazon.

FACTORFIVE Eye/Lash Cream ($145 USD) — Putting on fake lashes can be a hassle at times and it’s something a lot of women will be doing for holiday parties and New Years in the next few months. Now you can put down the glue, tweezers and falsies because Stanford scientists have discovered how to stimulate thicker, longer lash growth. They’ve created FACTORFIVE, a patent-pending skincare lines that captures growth factors, polypeptide complexes and cytokines from adult stem cells harvested from fat tissues to create an eyelash cream that will generate a 15% increase in eyelash volume and a 23% increase in length in four weeks.
Growth factors help replenish a more youthful-looking eye area, where biotin and redensyl work together to quickly and safely enhance your lashes and brows. Plus, FACTORFIVE will NOT change the color of your eyes and is formulated to absorb quickly, leaving your eyes free of unnecessary irritation.

Hi all! I’ve just received my very first BoxyCharm Premium! This is a new subscription from BoxyCharm. It’s a little more products than the regular and a little less than the BoxyLuxe. Here’s the details:
It’s $35 a month
6-7 beauty items a box
$175+ Value
You get to pick one of the items
The items will be different from BoxyCharm/BoxyLuxe – you can subscribe to both with no product overlap.
My total this month is $342! That’s crazy for spending only $35!
Here’s another photo:
I do think this feels like a luxury box. Here’s some close ups of the products:
I’ve been interested in this palette since it came out. I love Natasha Denona products and thinks this looks so pretty, especially for the fall with my pale skin tone. I haven’t swatched it yet, but I will do a separate review of this with swatches.
These BoxyCharm brushes are really interesting. They are very soft. The oval shape of the larger brushes are not something I’ve tried before. I think I’ll use those for foundation and cream products, like the blush in the palette.
Here’s the skincare from the box. These are some of my favorite products this month.
The eye cream is very expensive ($150!). But, I’m looking forward to trying it. I think I’ll use it after I’m done with my current night eye cream. It better make me look 10 years younger at least! LOL!
The Kopari toner smells amazing. It’s supposed to make my pores look smaller, so I hope that’s true. I’ll use it once my current rose toner spray is used up.
These last two products are my least favorites in the box. The Dragun Beauty corrector is so dark! I’ve seen light skin gals use it, but it’s still a bit scary. I’m going to give it a go, but I’m going to read up on how to use it.
The Becca gloss is in Champagne Creme. It’s really pretty, especially for the fall and holidays. But I have so many glosses that I need to use. I think I’ll give this away to someone for Christmas.
————————————————————————————————————————–
I think this was a great first month for BoxyCharm Premium! I will use almost every product in the box, which is pretty rare. I’m looking forward to what next month brings!
Did you get BoxyCharm Premium this month? What did you think?
I’ll be reviewing my regular November BoxyCharm soon, so we’ll see how it compares to Premium.
Hi all! Happy Sunday. I’m back with a skincare brand review.
BeautyStat started as a beauty review blog and now are creating skincare. BeautyStat Cosmetics mission is to scour the planet for new beauty ingredients and technologies. Their goal is to continually develop beauty. innovation with high-performance, and bring it directly to the consumer. Here’s what I received:
BeautyStat Universal Pro-Bio Moisture Boost Cream ($50 USD 1 oz) : An ultra-lightweight moisturizer, the NEW Universal Pro-Bio Moisture Boost Cream contains skin-boosting Hyaluronic Acid that binds moisture to the skin to maintain its optimum moisture level. Skin is instantly quenched, keeping it smooth, supple, and hydrated all day. A proprietary barrier moisture-repair complex with ceramides and pomegranate sterols protects and repairs to seal and boost your skin’s moisture mantle, minimizing premature lines and wrinkles.
What I think: I love this cream! It has a gel-like consistency so it sinks right into the skin, but it is so hydrating! I love to use this at night over potent treatments and serums because it calms and hydrates the skin. I apply it over the Vitamin C Refiner and it helps calm my skin afterwards.
BeautyStat Universal C Skin Refiner ($80 USD 1 oz): A powerful, clinically-tested Vitamin C-based skincare product, very different from the others, formulated with 20% pure Vitamin C (L ASCORBIC ACID) and a patented encapsulated delivery system that continues to work its magical full-strength results throughout use with no degrading of color or formula. Immediately and over time improves skin smoothness and radiance and is safe for all skin types including sensitive skins. Skin tone and texture become more even, lines, wrinkles and dark spots are diminished, and skin becomes firmer. Skin glows with the refreshing look of health.
As part of a daily skincare regimen, this crème/gel glides onto skin improving smoothness and radiance from first use to last. In addition to lightly hydrating skin, it brightens, helps even tone, and re-texturizes from day one. The Skin Refiner also results in fine lines, wrinkles, and dark/sun spots appearing diminished. Redness and pore size will be reduced, and skin will appear refreshed and firmer with an overall healthier look and feel.
What I think: I love Vitamin C products for brightening my skin. This is very strong Vitamin C, and I have very sensitive skin. The first time I tried this, I took a few pumps and spread it all over my face in a thick layer. It instantly irritated my skin and I had to wash it off. I love my Vitamin C, so I didn’t give up! Now, I pump out about two pumps on my hand then lightly tap the cream on the areas that need it — my cheeks, forehead, chin and any dark spots I might have. And that works so nicely. Just a little goes a long way! I’ve noticed a more even skin tone with using this product.
Both products are allergy and dermatologist-tested. Fragrance-free. You can purchase these products at beautystat.com
I’m really enjoying these products and will continue to use them. The Vitamin C Refiner is a treatment that I use about twice a week. I do use the cream every day, because it is so nice!
Have you heard of BeautyStat? What do you think of these products?
Hi all, Happy Halloween! Can you believe the first of November is tomorrow? The year is almost over!
Below are my beauty faves for October. As usual, If I have reviewed them before, I will include the link, if not, I will link to where you can purchase:
I was loving a fun mix of makeup and skincare this month!
This is the NARS Makeup Your Mind Eye & Cheek Palette. I reviewed it here.
I use this every day for my bronzer and blush. I love the blendability and shades. I haven’t used the eye shadows as much because I have so many new palettes I’m trying out. They are very pretty, though!
I have really been enjoying the essence Pure Nude Highlighter again. I haven’t used it in a while, and I brought it out for my October Shop My Stash. It can be subtle on, or built up to really shine! And it’s affordable, too.
Revlon PhotoReady Candid Antioxidant Concealer in 015 Light is so nice! I haven’t reviewed it yet because I’ve just started using it month. I purchased it a few months ago, but the shade was too light for me in the summer. It’s very easy to blend and covers really well. This really makes me want to purchase more Revlon makeup products!
I got the Kopari Lip Glossy in the Fall Ulta 21 Days of Beauty sale, and it’s already almost gone! It’s so smooth and hydrating. I like to use it in the day and evening. Definitely one I would repurchase again.
I wear my Thrive Causemetics Liquid Lash Extensions Mascara over my Urban Decay Subversion Lash Primer and my lashes look very long and don’t smudge! The Thrive mascara is my favorite mascara discovery this year. It’s so amazing!
One of the skincare products this month I’ve been enjoying is the Origins Ginzing Refreshing Eye Cream. I purchased this in the Ulta 21 Days of Beauty sale. I use it as my day eye cream. It instantly reduces dark circles. It does have a bit of an orange tint to it, and maybe that’s why my eyes look so refreshed when I use it.
I am almost out of the Purlisse Blus Lotus Daily Moisturizer. I got it in my August Ipsy Glam Bag Plus. I’ve been using it every morning and really like how hydrating it is. Plus, it has SPF 30!
I was sent Primera products for review, and have been using the Miracle Seed Essence after cleansing and toning. It is a light hydrator and preps the skin for serum and other moisturizers.
That’s it for my October favorites. Bring on November! What have you been loving lately?
Hi all! I recently turned in my Ulta points and did an amazing haul! I got the items above and this advent calendar:
The Body Shop Online Only Essential Advent Calendar ($70 USD) — I can’t find this on the website anymore! So sad! It’s really cute and smells amazing! They still have the more expensive one. The Online Only Deluxe Vegan Advent Calendar. It’s $110. You can purchase it here.
Here’s the calendar open. I’m excited to open this in December!
Here are close up pics of the other items:
The pink bag was a gift with purchase. It’s full of a bunch of deluxe samples.
And I’ve been wanting the recent Anastasia Beverly Hills collabs. The top palette is the Carli Bybel palette and the bottom one is the Jackie Aina palette. I will be doing full reviews of both (and the Tati Beauty palette which I just ordered today)!
From the top is the Tarte Travel Size Timeless Smoothing Primer ($19 USD). Tati Westbrook talks about this all of the time, and I’ve decided to try it out. And I love that it’s in a mini. I always use a pore filling primer over a hydrating one. I’m using up a couple now, but I will try this out once they are used up.
I have also heard a lot about the new Benefit Boi-ing Cakeless Concealer ($22 USD). I purchased it in the shade 2, which may be too light for me. I probably should have got shade 4. But that’s okay, I’ll give it a go.
I picked up two items from Catrice — the Lip Treatment ($7.99 USD) and the HD Liquid Coverage Foundation ($10.99 USD). I love a good lip treatment and I have heard amazing things about the foundation. I picked it up in 020 Rose Beige. I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m hoping it’s an okay match to try. Of course, since I got it all with my points, it’s FREE MAKEUP! It’s not the end of the world if the match for that and the concealer isn’t perfect. I can always mix them with other products.
I’ve been sick, so I haven’t really tried anything out yet, but I might wear makeup tomorrow to try somethings out. This is my largest points haul yet, and I’m so excited about it!
———————————————————————————————————————————–
Have you used any Ulta points for free makeup? What did you get?
Hey all! It’s time for my October Ipsy Glam Bag Ultimate review! Here’s some info on the new subscription:
Glam Bag Ultimate is a new subscription with 8 full-sized & 4 deluxe samples, personalized for you, for $50/month. You’ll get to choose one of your full-size products with the new choice feature!
There will be a makeup bag, every month.
You can now add up to 5 Add-Ons for your bag. Previously you were limited to 3.
This subscription is $50 a month.
I have pretty much enjoyed Ipsy Glam Bag Plus, so I wanted to get this new subscription a try.
I chose the Green Clean this month. I haven’t used it before, but I am looking forward to trying it out.
The Biorace serum looks interesting. I can always use hydration. I will be trying this out when I’m out of my current hydrating serums.
The Cela creme contains “A potent blend of Canadian botanicals—blueberry, elderberry, evening primrose, juniper berry, rosemary, and lavender—team up to deeply hydrate your skin.” I will be keeping this and trying it out in the winter, when my skin needs more hydration. It’s supposed to work well before makeup.
I’m not really interested in the Eggplant mask or Unicorn Glow primer, so I’ll save those to give as holiday gifts.
The Saem is a Korean skincare brand. I will probably save these to give as stocking stuffers. I may try one out. Not too exciting.
These F.A.R.A.H brushes look nice, but I don’t really need face brushes right now. I will probably give them away.
Neither of these are very exciting to me (the theme of the box, LOL. These will probably be stocking stuffers.
I haven’t tried anything from Makeup Geek before, so I am going to test this out. It has a pink duochrome flip, so it’s probably not an everyday highlight for me. It might be nice for Halloween or just dressing up.
This is a pretty blush trio. I don’t really need it and think this will make a nice gift for someone.
Besides the Farmacy Green Clean, this is the other product I was excited about. It’s very pretty and perfect for fall. I have a few of these Huda Obsessions palettes and really enjoy them! It will go well with my Smoky Obsessions palette that’s in my October Shop My Stash.
So, I was very excited to try the Ipsy Glam Bag Ultimate out, but I’ll only use a few of the 12 products I received. For $50, I don’t think it was a great deal. I’m not sure I will continue this subscription. You would think that for their first box, it would be amazing.
Did you try Ipsy Glam Bag Ultimate this month? What do you think? Did you get different products than I did?
I’m back with a review of some products I’m loving this fall. These products are so nourishing for face, hair and body. I received these for my honest review:
Crepe Erase Hydrating Body Toning Mist in Citrus ($25 (USD) — Formulated with water-binding trehalose, as well as their exclusive TruFirm Complex, this light mist acts like a magnet for moisture, making it a perfect layering essence that preps skin for and amplifies the results of their Advanced Body Repair Treatment. I think this smell so nice and feels really hydrating on the skin. This is so nice for colder weather. It locks moisture in. Purchase at Ulta.com
Sky Organics Organic Rosewater Facial Mist ($14.95 USD) — Made with 100% pure Rosewater steam distilled from Lebanese roses.Full of natural anti-inflammatory properties, Rosewater instantly soothes redness and balances skin’s pH, all while providing lightweight hydration to soften, moisturize, and balance skin. I like using this as a hydrating toner and as a makeup setting spray. This can also be used to soothe scalp dryness. I just tried it and it did help my dry scalp! Very cool.
Sky Organics Organic Castor Oil 16 oz ($15.95 USD) — The Organic Castor Oil is cold-pressed from ethically sourced Castor Seeds from Kerala, India. Naturally high in Ricinoleic acid, Castor Oil is known for its ability to fortify and restore dry, damaged or thinning hair, and promote hair growth. Its anti-inflammatory properties and fatty acid content help nourish and treat the scalp to promote growth and strengthen hair at the root. This is a nice scalp treatment as well and can also be used to naturally lengthen and thicken eyelashes and brows!
Both products can be purchased at skyorganics.com
Dr. Natural Pure-castile Liquid Soap ($10.86 USD) – Eucalyptus 32 Oz — Dr. Natural is a multi-purpose, pure Castile liquid soap, made from coconut and olive oils, shea butter and other high-quality ingredients to effectively cleanse while keeping skin moisturized for total body care. With no animal ingredients, artificial colors, parabens or sulfates, it can be used for multi-purposes such as a body wash, hand soap, shampoo, facial cleanser, shaving and bath soak. All items are made in the USA. Made with Organic Shea Butter. Sulfate Free, Paraben Free, Dye Free, Cruelty Free, No artificial colors.
This is a very nice soap and it comes in other scents as well — Almond, Lavender and Peppermint.

What new beauty products are you loving this fall?
Hi all! It’s almost October, which means it’s time for my September favorites!
Below are my beauty faves for September. As usual, If I have reviewed them before, I will include the link, if not, I will link to where you can purchase:
My favorites this month include a good mix of makeup and skincare, plus a hair care item!
I’ve been trying out loads of new skincare the last few months and love to spotlight my favorites each month. Plus, a few of these favorites are from subscription boxes.
I received the Glow Recipe Pineapple-C Bright Serum in my BoxyLuxe for September. I use it every morning after cleansing and toning. It really brightens my skin!
The Primera Alpine Berry Water Cream is so hydrating.
The Ordinary Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion has made such a difference in my fine lines.
I purchased the Smashbox Primerizer during the spring Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty. I didn’t want to wear it in the summer heat and humidity, but now that it’s cooler, I’m really enjoying this. It smooths and hydrates the skin. Perfect before foundation to create a moisturized base.
I also got the MAC Prep + Prime Fix+ Scents in Creamy Coconut in the Ulta’s Spring 21 Days. I only have about a third of this left. I like the soft coconut set and it performs just like the original spray.
The IGK Hair Mistress Hydrating Balm was also included in my September BoxyLuxe. This is a gorgeous balm that works to smooth damp or dry hair. I use this every day to tame my frizzies.
The Wander Beauty Frame Your Face brow pencil was in my September Ipsy Glam Bag Plus. The shade is Dark Brown and it works well for me. The pencil is a bit of a dry formula and takes a little pressure to use, but I like the effect I get with it.
This pretty face palette is the Ofra x Madison Miller Miller Squad Midi Palette. I also received this in September Ipsy Glam Bag Plus. The blush is really nice for fall and I enjoy the highlighters, although they are very similar to each other.
I’ve had the Sigma Beauty Enchanted Eyeshadow Palette for a couple of months. I’ve posted about it on my Instagram (fortyflirtyfab), but I haven’t reviewed it here yet. I do plan on reviewing it soon. It is unfortunately sold out on the Sigma Beauty website, but I have found it on Amazon here.
This is a stunning palette! You can create ethereal or even very dramatic looks with it. The shadows blend nicely. Some of the shimmers need to be built up, but that’s fine with me.
———————————————————————————————————————————That’s my September favorites. Bring on October! What have you been loving this month?
