If you haven’t heard of Yves Rocher, it’s a French originated company that created botanical skin care, body care, fragrance and makeup.

I was sent some products from the company to test, and have really been enjoying them. Many of these products are very affordable and are of great quality! Some of my favorite Yves Rocher summer products are:

Yves Rocher Mango Passion Fruit Smoothie Shower Gel ($10 for 13.5 oz) — My daughters LOVED this shower gel (past tense because it was gone in a week). The reason why is becasue this mango and passion fruit concoction smells delicious. It smelled just like real fruit and lathered up nicely so that we could also use it as bubble bath! Yum!

Yves Rocher Eau de toilette Monoï ($32 3.3 oz) — One sniff of this and I was transported back to Hawaii — and I haven’t been there since my honeymoon over 20 years ago! Tiare and Ylang Ylang flowers are combined with a Vanilla base, and it is sweet, light and lovely. Vacation in a bottle! They also sell this scent in a body oil, but my teenage daughter took that for her dry legs, and I haven’t seen it since…

Yves Rocher Pearly Water ($10 1 oz) — Pearly and lightly scented skin all at once! Experience an immediate feeling of freshness with this slightly gelled, pearly water. This can be used on the face and body. Its fine-textured, golden pearly particles subtly add shimmer to your complexion. Perfect for instantly enhancing your tan!

Yves Rocher Duo Kohl Pencil - Tropical — Yves Rocher Duo Kohl Pencil – Tropical

Duo Kohl Pencils ($6 USD) Highlight your eyes with these Duo Kohl Pencils, which combine two trendy colors. Each pair comes with one radiant iridescent color (Pink Gold or Camel) to enlarge and brighten your eyes and one intense, matt color (Purple or Tropical Khaki) to structure your eyes and give them depth. Mix and match the colors to create hot new looks!

I have the Tropical pencil that is Camel — a shimmery gold — on one end and Tropical Khaki — a dark blue-green on the other end. I love this. The camel is great for the corners of my eyes and lining the inner rims to create a wide-awake look. The Tropical Khaki is gorgeous for enhincing the eyes and looks great with summer colors.

Yves Rocher Shimmering Bronzer ($10 USD) A tanned complexion for the summer! This shimmering bronzer is this summer’s must-have for a natural and radiant tan. Apply with a brush to enhance or intensify your bronzed complexion. This is also a lovely highlighter for darker complexions! So pretty!

Yves Rocher Lip Gloss – Sienna Red

Lip Gloss in Sienna Red ($5 USD) Luscious lips for the summer! Irresistible lips with this yummy-scented gloss. And the color? I am not a fan of red for me, but this shimmery red is beautiful and would be great with a neutral or a smoky eye. It also feels great on and is not sticky — AWESOME!

Sante America is a new brand that I just discovered. The Soft Cream Foundation ($17.00 USD) is very easy to apply, plus it feels and looks extremely natural. This foundation is light and hydrating to keep skin soft and supple. Cupuaçu butter, Pomegranate extract, and Organic Jojoba oils are richly emollient, without being heavy, which makes for even application. The 3 natural colors come courtesy of pure mineral pigments and our multi-ethnic line makes it easy to find your perfect shade.

I love the silky feel of this foundation and the natural, but flawless coverage I get from the foundation. Also, it does not feel heavy on.

Yves Rocher Perfect Primer ($12.50 USD) is perfect under either of these foundations. This primer, infused with rose, preps skin for makeup and helps it last longer, to ensure a flawless complexion all day long.

Enriched with musk rose oil, Damask rose extract and Damask rosewater, it instantly fades fine lines and imperfections, such as enlarged pores and signs of fatigue. Skin texture is visibly smoother. I have found that my complexion looks radiant even without foundation and when I apply foundation, it seems to last longer.

Yves Rocher, the purveyors of botanical beauty, have recently released a fairy extensive collection of bath and body products. I have been able to try a few of their body lotions and they are so wonderful! Here are my favorites:

Nourishing Moisturizer ($14.00 USD on sale for $8.00 for 6.7 fl.oz) smells decadently like almonds — yum! This lotion is made to nourish dry and very dry skin. It contains almond oil from organically grown ingredients to restore skin to comfort and Mexican agave sap from organically grown ingredients for its moisturizing properties. I love it because it is very rich and creamy and smells incredible!

3 in 1 Sunkissed Firming Moisturizer ($18.00 USD on sale for $9.00 for 6.7 fl.oz.) — For a sunkissed summer body (all year round), this formula of 3 in 1 Sunkissed Firming Moisturizer combines:
– beautifying Polynesian tiare flower,
– Madagascar centella asiatica,
– Mexican firming agave sap from organically grown ingredients for its moisturizing virtues,
– and a light self-tanning agent.

I love it because it smells pretty and tropical and gives a natural looking gradual tan. It also doesn’t have that icky tanning scent, which is a big plus!

So Elixir — A New Fragrance by Yves Rocher

I have recently discovered the brand Yves Rocher (which I enjoy) and happily tested some of their Holiday 2009 offerings.

My favorite holiday item from Yves Rocher is the Extra Long Wear Eye Pencil ($5.00 USD). This thick pencil goes on very smooth and is claimed to be long -lasting. It didn’t last all day on me, but did last for a while. It comes in two colors — Taupe Rose is a rosy, bronze that is great for day and Bleu Nuit is a dramatic navy that is perfect for evening looks.

Gloss & Charm Mirror – Limited Edition ($6.00 USD) are perfect holiday lip glosses. They are available in two party-perfect shades: Raspberry Jelly and Frosty White. These glosses are soft and shimmery and can be worn over lipstick for more glamour! Plus you’ll receive a mirror charm with every gloss purchased.

Yves Rocher also has a home fragrance collection. I really like the Jardins de Noel Liquid Hand Soap ($5.00 USD). It comes in a generous 10.1 fl. oz bottle and is a festive way to dress up your bathroom (and keep your hands clean) this holiday season. It comes in Fleur de Noel, with notes of white flower, cedar, lemon extract and orange, and Jardins de Noel, with notes of almond, mandarin, bergamot and grapefruit.
