I just received photos of NARS new Spring 2015 collection — and I was very surprised! The collection is light and fresh, and I am really liking it!
While NARS is known for daring color, this collection shows a different side of the brand’s ethos. As François explains, “I think a woman can look very beautiful not wearing any color at all but just neutral shades of beiges, browns, and ivories. You can really sculpt the face in a very beautiful way without always having to use bold shades. That’s what this collection is all about. I thought it was very fresh and surprising, which is what I always love to do: surprise people.”
Disrobed tones in spectral effects expose a new natural state. The fresh Spring look begins with a provocative pink shimmer on cheeks. The barely-there effect extends to eyes, where a bold beige base sets the stage for burnished neutrals with lucid depth. Lips are undone in tan pigments topped with a whisper of opalescent gloss.

It was a beautiful day in Kansas City today! Over 50 degrees and sunny, so my family and I went to the Kansas City Zoo. I sure got my FitBit steps in today and am feeling great! What I think: This works so well! It is very easy to use, just roll it over the rough patches of your feet and in a few minutes you get soft, smooth feet! My feet are usually so dry and rough during the winter, but they look summer ready now!

What I think: I have been using the infuser tumbler every day and have put all types of citrus in it. It helps me drink more water, because I enjoy the fresh flavor.
The hot & cold mug is perfect for coffee. The fact that you can drink from any direction is really fun, plus it doesn’t leak. And it keeps my coffee hot for a long time.
The bento box is so cool! It keeps my fresh food (and dressings or dips) separated and cool until I am ready to eat them. It’s great to help keep any healthy eating goals that you have for the year!

To use, apply Argan Cleansing Oil evenly over dry face. Then, wet the face and massage into a rich milk. Rinse thoroughly. Massage argan oil into skin, hair, and/or nails to help moisturize face, treat split ends, and/or condition cuticles. Shake Argan Matchmaker Foundation Serum well and then use the foundation brush to apply to the face. Sweep Argan Color Stick over the apples of the cheeks and blend toward the temples. Apply to lips for a soft flush of hydrating color.
What I think: This set of natural skin goodies really can make you glow! The argan oil is good for your whole body, the cleanser gets all of the makeup off and the beautiful color skin makes cheeks and lips naturally rosy.
But, the start products for me is the Matchmaker Serum Foundation and the foundation brush. I have been wanting to try the foundation since it was released. The foundation I have been using is a little dark for my skintone, so I had to mix it with lighter concealer. Josie’s serum foundation is a perfect match and easily covers discoloration and redness. I squirt a little on the back of my hand and dip the brush in it and paint it on my face. I like to start under my eyes and move to my cheeks, forehead, chin and nose and blend, blend, blend! It starts out white and turns into my natural ivory shade. You can order the set in Fair/Light, Light/Medium (my shade) and Medium/Dark. I was afraid that Light/Medium would be a little too dark, but it adjusted perfectly. This may be my holy grail foundation!
It’s a new year! And it is so cold and dry in Kansas City! Brrr!

What I think: These shadows are so fun for a fresh look! Especially in this cold, dreary winter. The shadows are extremely pigmented and fun to use. I like to use them as an accent to more neutral shades. But using them together would be a very bright look!
Phyto-C Icy Blue Mist ($40 USD) –Provides intensive hydration by binding water to skin tissue. Refreshes skin, nourishes dry and sun damaged skin. Enhances skin elasticity and radiance. Helps prevent irritation and other skin reactions.
What I think: This is great tospritz on the face after washing and beforemoisturizers and during the day for a pick me up. It is very refreshing and smells minty!

What I think: I was so happy to test some new Yes to products, and these three were my favorites! The wipes are perfect for my sensitive skin and they clean very well. The lip oil is amazing! It smells and tastes fantastic, like coconut and mint and is so moisturizing. My lips were chapped by are much better after a few days use. And the face and neck oil keeps my parched skin soft without being greasy.

What I think: These are so yummy! The crunchy pretzels topped with the soft caramel rich dark chocolate are paired with a pinch of salt. They are delicious and you need only one or two at a time to tame sweet cravings!

What I think: This lipstick is a gorgeous color! I usually don’t wear dark lipstick, but I am loving this, especially with the matte top coat over it. It makes it look more wearable and softer.

What I think: This is a pretty palette that will match well with gorgeous Marsala lipsticks. It has fairly good pigment, but needs a couple of layers.

What I think: I haven’t tried this, but I think the colors are gorgeous and look very versatile. The lightest color would be a pretty highlighter and the darkest would contour well.
