My Beauty Favorites — Week of April 10-16, 2017

Happy Easter! I hope you had a great day with friends and family! I had a low key Easter, and made a ham dinner for my family.

My faves this week are perfect for the warmer seasons. They include a great blush/highlighter combo, a brightly-colored ponytail extension, and a hydrating face moisturizer:

It has been a rainy spring week in Kansas City. We had a really dry winter, so I guess this is okay. But, I am looking forward to warm, sunny days!

What I think: Both of these collections smell amazing, but I think the Comice Pear & Wild Honey is my favorite, I use the hand lotion every day. Both of these fragrances are so original!

My Beauty Favorites — Week of March 20-26, 2017

How is your spring going so far? Last week was spring break for my kids (and me, I took a week off) and now it’s back to the grind!

My favorites this week are new probiotic skincare, calming bubble bath, bed and body mist, and a night time face mask. All of these products sooth and calm me as I go back to work:

Spa @ Home by Masque Bar sleeping Mask with Lavender ($19.99 USD) — This overnight sleeping mask, enriched with Lavender Extract, Aloe, Witch Hazel and Plant derived ingredients, will help relieve dry, irritated skin and leave it feeling brighter and moisturized.

What I think: This is kind of a rescue mask for when skin is dry and irritated. My skin is always irritated during allergy season, and luckily this mask works well with my sensitive skin. The next morning, my skin is glowing and feels really soft.

Kneipp Lavender & Vanilla Aromatherapy Bubble Bath ($15 USD) – Treat yourself to a moment of relaxation with the Kneipp Bubble Bath. What I think: If you haven’t tried Rituals products before, do it for the amazing fragrances (as well as the natural ingredients)! This sent is so heavenly, it’s calming and perfect for evening. I spray this on my pillow, but it is great on the body, too.

It’s been cold this week and has even snowed! But it is almost spring, which I am excited about!
