Project Pan August-September 2018

Hey all! I’m back with my third project pan of the year! I’ve been doing quarterly pans, but I took a month off. So this third pan is only two months.

The products below are mostly skincare, with some makeup and other products thrown in!

I have chosen 10 products for my 2 month pan. Most of these are at least half way full, so I should be able get through most of them!

Here is a description of each product and what I think of it. Buckle up, this is going to be a long one!

Both of these are from Victoria Principal’s natural skincare line Principal Secret Reclaim Botanical. I have been loving products from this line. So great for aging skin and I love that they are good for me! They are almost used up so they should be empty by the end of the pan.

I have had the the hope in a jar for a while now and need to use it up. It looks thick, but turns into a lighter cream once applied. It’s really nice for the summer. This jar is pretty full (as is the Yes to mask) so I need to make an effort to use it up.

The yes to superblueberries mask/scrub/cleanser is really creamy and sticks to my skin, so it works best as a mask, then wiped off with a damp towel. It leaves my skin so soft and glowy!

I love both of these mists, but I have SO many mists right now, I need to use some up! I use the Botanics mist (which smells like rose) after I wash my face and before my skincare, and the Pacifica mist (which smells like watermelon) before and after applying makeup. They smell amazing and are so refreshing!

The primer is looks shimmery first, but when applied well, it blurs all imperfections and skin looks so smooth! It’s really hydrating, too.

The foundation is a medium coverage which I love for everyday. It’s a little glowy and hydrating, which I need right now. My skin is a little dry.

I love Lavanila Body Butter. It is super hydrating and always smells amazing. This is about half full.

The Tigi hair cream is so good on my frizzy hair! It also makes my hair soft and shiny. I have been using this for a while, and there isn’t a lot left.

So there are my products for my third Project Pan of 2018. I have less than two months to use these up. I should be able to do it!

Yes to Peel Off Masks Review

Hi all! July is almost over, can you believe it? I’ll be posting my July favorites soon, but today I am reviewing fun peel off masks from Yes to. I was sent these for my honest review.

I love peel masks. These help to target impurities, while helping hydrate, calm and brighten skin. Each mask is made with 95% or more natural ingredients, formulated without parabens, SLS and silicones and is Leaping Bunny Certified.

Yes To Cucumbers Calming Peel-Off Mask
Cucumber: A soothing vegetable extract to calm skin

Yes To Coconut Energizing Coffee Peel-Off Mask
Coconut: A tropical moisturizer.
Coffee: Helps skin look tighter.

Yes To Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal Peel-Off Mask — Formulated with charcoal and tomato extract to help peel away impurities and excess oil, this LBM
(Little Black Mask) helps leave skin naturally clear.
Charcoal: A natural detoxifier and impurity remover to deep clean skin.

Yes To Grapefruit Vitamin C Glow-Boosting Peel-Off Mask
Grapefruit: Rich in vitamin C and lycopene (antioxidant heavy hitters), it naturally helps visibly even skin tone and enhances glow.

Directions: Smooth an even layer of the mask over clean forehead, cheeks, nose and chin, avoiding the eye area, eyebrows and hairline. Build up an edge around the mask. Relax until the mask is fully dry, at least 8 to 10 minutes, then lift edges and start peeling! Rinse off any remaining pieces and moisturize.

I tried all of these except for the charcoal one. My teenage daughter tried it and like it. It cleaned out her pores and left her skin smooth!

The three I tried all smelled amazing! Really fresh, natural scents. And they did what they claimed. I have sensitive skin and the cucumber mask calmed and hydrated my skin.

The coffee/coconut mask was also hydrating and my skin was smooth after I used it. The grapefruit mask did brighten my skin, but irritated it a bit. Which is fine, the redness went away a few minutes later.

I think that these are so nice and affordable. They were kind of hard to peel off, so building up an edge on the the outer part of the face is a good idea. And I try to do a thick layer, but it does take longer to dry.

Say Yes To New Scrubs and Masks!

I’ve been blogging for a very long time — almost 10 years! Yes to was one of the first brands I received for review, and I still love using them. They were only Yes to Carrots at that time. But boy, have they grown!

I have been sent some amazing masks and scrubs to test for my honest review. I have to say, they have so many unique products out right now. The packaging is really fun, too. Here are the ones that stood out to me:

Yes To Superblueberries Recharging Greek Yogurt & Probiotics 3-IN-1 Mask, Scrub and Cleanser ($15.99 MSRP) — This was one of my favorite masks or scrub of the bunch! I really tried to read the descriptions and instructions, but didn’t succeed on all of these. For this one I saw Greek yogurt as an ingredient and thought it was going to be a smooth, hydrating mask (yes I know that the name of it includes scrub)!

This is creamy, but it also has little scrubbers in it to gently exfoliate the skin. I used the included spoon to apply and spread product all over my face and it was mess-free. I left it on for about 15 minutes, rinsed it off and my skin was so smooth!

Yes to Cotton Anti-Pollution Oxygenated Facial Mask ($15 MSRP) — This is a great quick mask that is very easy to use! It is a lightweight mask that starts bubbling on contact. Once the bubbles pop in about 10 minutes, it’s time to rinse off.

This is perfect for my allergy-prone, ultra-sensitive skin. It has cotton extract and oxygen and it leaves my skin very soft and ready for makeup, bedtime, anything!

Yes To Carrots Vitamin-Enriched Kale DIY Powder-to-Clay Mask ($15.99 MSRP — This is a 100% Vegan skin treatment with Kale and carrots.

I’ve used it once, but was not paying attention to the instructions! I mixed all of the powder with water in the container, instead of just a bit in the lid as I should have! So it can’t be used again. That’s okay for me, because it really irritated my skin! I left it on for 10 minutes until the clay was dry, but once I washed it off, my face was so red! I’m glad I did it at night. It was better in the morning, but my pores were still enlarged. I wouldn’t recommend this for those with sensitive skin, but to those with normal skin types, go for it. My skin was soft afterwards.

Yes To Grapefruit Vitamin C Glow-Boosting Snapmask Stick ($15.99 MSRP) — This is another really quick and easy mask, it only takes 5 minutes! I like to use this before I get in the bathtub. It dries down on the face and is really easy to wash off. Skin is bright and smooth after use!

Yes To Coconut Energizing Coffee 2-In-1 Scrub & Cleanser Stick ($9.99 MSRP) — This last one is not a mask, but a scrub I love using in the morning. It has coconut and coffee iand i fun and easy to use.

I apply this on damp skin, rub it in and rinse off. It’s very hydrating, plus it exfoliates well, too! I really like this in the morning, ask it gets my skin ready for makeup!
