What I think:  I love this foundation! The texture is smooth and silky when applied, and it covers so well. I set it with a little powder and it stays all day!  You can find this at drugstores and mass market retailers near you.

What I think: The SPF 50 in this foundation makes it perfect for the summer (and any time of the year).  It is very light going on, but really evens the skin tone and covers imperfections.  I tried it in light, and it was a little bit orange for me.  I would need a more neutral shade to perfectly match my skin.  There are 15 shades, so I’m sure there is something that I will like.  Visit www.hissyfit.com to learn more and to purchase. 

I love the powder.  It sets my makeup, but it doesn’t look like I have anything on, it blends in so perfectly.  This comes in 8 shades.  I have the fair and it is perfect for my skin tone.

What I think:  The foundation covers well but is so light, it doesn’t look like I’m wearing makeup.  The SPF 18 is a nice feature.  I apply this foundation, a little powder, cream blush and I am off.  I usually don’t need concealer with this.

Glam Up With Jemma Kidd Makeup School

Jemma Kidd is a makeup artist who has founded a makeup academy and lines of makeup including Jemma Kidd Makeup School, Jemma Kidd Pro and JK Jemma Kidd (you can find this line at Target). I have recently tried some products from hr lines. Here are a couple that i really like:

What I think: I love the super black tint of this mascara and that fact that it lengthens and thickens my lashes. The thick brush is really easy to apply and it stays on all day without smudging! I have only been using this for a couple of weeks, so I haven’t noticed lash growth, but I will let you all know if I do!

What I think: This is a great little do-it-all compact that is perfect to use at home or put in your purse for quick touch-up! I use the Citrus and Apricot correctors under my eyes. I put the citrus first and the apricot over. It lessens my dark circles and brightens, too. The radiance cream is gorgeous as a highlighter and the flush is a pretty lip and cheek color!

What I think: I have Sugar Cane, which is a shimmery shade of coral. This is such a beautiful color and product that it is hard to believe that it has SPF protection!  It glides on easily and instantly moisturizes my lips. It also gives a glossy finish. The packaging is also inventive as the tube clicks into the cap and you have to press the bottom of the tube to release it. That means that it doesn’t come undone in your purse.
