Hydrating Beauty Products For Face, Hair and Body — Get Ready For Cold Weather!

It is definitely not cold where I live yet, but it will be coming soon! When it does get colder, my skin and hair will need extra love and hydration!

This one is perfect and it firms the neck nicely.

What I think: I LOVE this luxe lotion! It is unscented, which many people need because of fragrance allergies. I like a fragranced lotion usually, but this one is so nice! It is moisturizing, but sinks right into the skin leaving it very soft. Great for after shaving, or just after a nice shower. I also like to apply it to my feet at night.

What I think: This smells amazing! I use it as my moisturizer a few days a week, because it is so quick to use and leaves my hair so soft! I love that it has natural ingredients in it, too.

My Beauty Favorites — Week of October 3-9, 2016

I love fall, the changing leaves, pumpkin everything and the fact that Halloween and other holidays are just around the corner! I wish it would get a little bit cooler in Kansas City so I can wear sweaters and boots, but I know it will come.

This week, I am loving an odd assortment of items, including a cream sheet mask (what?), cute jeggings and a fabric in-wash odor killer:

Masqueology by Beauty Architects— is reinventing skincare with a unique mask-based treatment line that is convenient, portable and designed to meet your individual skincare concerns. There is one full ounce of concentrated advanced ingredients infused into each deeply relaxing facial sheet mask. These multi-tasking masks are designed specifically to contour to your face shape. This month Masqueology launched a new line of affordable masks into over 3,000 Walmart stores nationwide, and this Winter they will be launching more new products including hair masks and Emoji masks. What I think: This mask is so interesting! When I opened the package, the paper mask had a LOT of cream on it. I’m used to gel masks or paper masks with serum, but the cream was surprising, and a little messy. But, once unfolded, it is easy to apply and there is enough mask to wrap under the chin, which I like.

I tried the Collagen Lifting Cream Mask, which left my skin firm and glowing and the Special Care Cream Mask, that helps with redness.

No Nonsense Classic Denim Leggings ($16.99 USD) — No nonsense New Classic Denim Leggings are made with a new fabric that is more like a “woven” denim jeans! These leggings have functional back pockets, faux front pockets and fly plus a variety of washes. They are super soft with stretch fabric, designed to hug your body while retaining their shape. Inseam measures 29″

What I think: I have these in dark denim and they are so comfy! But, they are also really cute and look amazing under boots, or with a little flat. I will be wearing these all fall and winter. They aren’t thin and fit really well. They are affordable, too.

I was given a package of these new products to test for my honest opinion. There were 8 new products. They are:

What I think: This creamy serum has a citrusy scent, which quickly fades away after use. The texture is thick for a serum, and it does kind of remind me of a blur cream. Once applied the texture of my skin is so smooth. I love how it sinks into my skin, though and other products can easily be layered on top. After use of this (and all of the skincare products) my face does look younger. Yay!

What I think: Loving this pale blue cream! It has a very slight scent to it and it kind of thick, like a Greek yogurt. Once I apply it all around my eye, it sinks right in and leaves the eye area glowy! I have been using these products for a few weeks now and have noticed a change. In my eyes, my dark circles have lightened and my fine lines have diminished.

What I think: This is one of the products I was most excited to try! It is tinted and helps smooth out my skin tone as well as protect it. What I think: This reminds me of my favorite powder, Bye Bye Pores. It is a very pale yellow and is unscented. Once applied, it immediately smoothes my pores and skin and gives a really even canvas for foundation. Sometimes I just add a little powder on top and go, and my skin looks amazing!

Curél Rough Skin Rescue (Best of Steals in Skin) $7.99 USD — Ideal for severely dry, flaky skin, this smoothing lotion gently loosens flakes without irritation, allowing essential hydration to reach the areas that need it most. The dermatologist-recommended formula uses natural ingredients to relieve roughness and help prevent it from returning,

What I think: This summer killed my skin, especially my feet. They are dry and flaky. This lotion does hydrate even my driest skin and leaves it soft.

Back To School Beauty!

School has started and fall is on the way! I am really looking forward to cooler weather (hopefully soon, it was about 85 in Kansas City today).

So what type of beauty products are great picks for back to school? I have been sent the following products for my honest review, and I am loving them! They include a powerhouse face cream, shampoo and conditioner that continues hydrating hair, invigorating body washes and gorgeous grey nail polishes:
