Olay Regenerist Anti-Aging Eye Roller and DNA Superstructure UV Cream SPF 25

Olay has changed so much since my mother began using it years ago. I believe her Oil of Olay first came in a jar and had a very distinct scent to it. She, and many other women swore by it (my mom still looks super young and still uses it). At the time, it was one of the only accessible drugstore brands of anti-aging skincare.

Now there are so many brands of skincare, and Olay has kept right up with them. One of their popular lines is the Regenerist line. This collection claims to regenerate the skin’s appearance once cell at a time.

I tried the following new Regenerist products:

Regenerist DNA Superstructure UV Cream SPF 25 ($24.99 USD) This new anti-aging moisturizer is touted to help rebuild cellular surface structure and restore firmness, regenerating a more youthful appearance. It contains SPF 25 and anti-oxidants to protect the skin.

This moisturizer is a perfect light day cream, and the SPF is so important. I don’t know if it is rebuilding my cellular structure, but my skin looks very smooth since I began using it. It also has a nice, light floral scent that is not overpowering.

The Regenerist Anti-Aging Eye Roller ($22.99 USD) “features precision micro-rollers that gently massage in a concentrated, hydrating anti-aging treatment to not only help reduce eye puffiness, but also regenerate skin’s appearance to diminish fine lines and wrinkles.” This formula is Dermatologically Tested and Non-Comedogenic (Won’t Clog Pores).

This is a fun product to use. You click the button on the bottom to release the serum, and then massage it under (and all around) the eye. It feels cooling on and seems to decrease puffiness. I don’t have many eye wrinkles, but the skin under my eye seems smoother.

Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque

Need a little help with your skin this Winter? Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque ($43.00 USD) is touted to help environmentally damaged, irritated and hypersensitive skin.

This effects from this mask are described as “Super-concentrated antioxidant vitamins and botanicals dramatically reduce the inflammation and redness associated with stressed, prematurely aging skin. I have used this mask 3 times in as many weeks. I smooth it on my skin and leave it on for 15 or 20 minutes then rinse it off. Afterwards, my skin is SO soft, dewy and the redness on my cheeks and around my nose is lessened. Plus, the more I have used it, the better my skin looks.

I highly recommend this anti-aging treatment, it’s quite a help in the cold, dry winter!

It leaves a thin, moisturizing film on skin that is touted to be helpful for people with rosacea, dry or sensitive skin. You can also apply it to wet skin. Either way it leaves skin soft and hydrated, not dry and it doesn’t irritate at all.

High Potency Vita-C Serum ($55.00 USD) — This serum has a high concentration of Vitamin C and claims to promote skin cell renewal and collagen stimulation, plus improving skin texture and radiance. This product contains alcohol so make sure you shake it before use and apply morning and night before moisturizer. I have been using it for a few weeks and my skin is clear and glowing (and less red).

Antioxidant Moisturizing Cream ($55.00) — My favorite of the three products, this anti-aging moisturizer includes Vitamins A, C and E which firms, reduces fine lines, strengthens and protects skin from free-radical-induced skin damage and sun damage. I love the deeply hydrating, yet non-greasy texture. I pile it on at night, because I love how it feels in the cold weather, when my skin is so dry, and it doesn’t get oily or greasy at all. Then, in the morning, my skin is glowing!

This triple action collagen renewal serum restores the body’s own collagen, while stimulating new collagen production. I like this kit, but I caution that these products are professional quality and are quite potent. My skin was a bit red the first few days I tried them. Now, I am used to the products and like the smoothness I am seeing. I especially love the Transform cream that you apply after the Renew. It is moisturizing and soothing.

Arcona Reozone 40

Looking for a quality sunscreen that isn’t greasy and doesn’t leave a white residue on your face? Arcona’s Reozone 40 ($28.00) could be the one for you! This unusual sunscreen is tinted and moisturizes the skin as well as protects it.

I think that I would have to use it longer than I have to see real results, but I can see that it does help. It also feels good going on and smells nice, too.
