My Beauty Favorites — Week of May 15-21, 2017

It’s been a stormy week in Kansas City, but it’s sunny today!  That makes me think of summer and gorgeous summer makeup!

My favorites this week include new launches from essence cosmetics, Miracle Skin Transformer and Pur Cosmetics.  These products will keep skin glowing and nails shimmering throughout summer:

 

Out of this world! Introducing the Out of Space Stories Nail Polish Collection ($2.99 USD) by essence cosmetics. These holographic, iridescent and metallic nail polishes are available in 7 bright colors perfect for an intergalactic adventure.

What I think:  These are really fun polishes!  Great for fingers and toes.  They go on smoothly and last a week with a base and top coat.  And they are an affordable option if you’d like to try a holo or other sparkly polish!

Miracle Skin Transformer Pure Reflection Fluid Finish Foundation ($36 USD) —  a color solution with an emphasis on skin, and feature Chroma-Quench, a fusion of peptides to support & strengthen, humectants to draw and bind water for natural hydration, light-reflecting particles and pigment, allowing you to create a cocktail for customized complexion solutions.

What I think: This hydrating foundation smells like a margarita!  At least it does to me.  It applies really smoothly and I’d say it has a medium coverage.  It feels so light on, it will be perfect for summer.  I don’t like to wear anything heavy on my face when it gets hot out, and this will be perfect!  Available in two shades Buff/Light and Honey/Medium.

What I think: The bronzer has a slight shimmer to it and it is a really pretty golden color.  I think it’s perfect for arms and legs to smooth skin or enhance a tan.  the blotting stick will be perfect for when it gets hot and humid in KC.  It helps skin stay matte all day.  It works well under makeup or on it’s own for a natural look.
