My Beauty Faves Week of February 9-15, 2015

Happy Valentine’s Day!  I hope you are having a fun day being with friends, family or your love!

This week I’m loving a romantic cherry blossom fragrance, a refreshing facial toner, skincare that helps fade dark spots and smoothing hair care:

L’Occitane Cherry Blossom L’Eau de Toilette ($45 1.7 fl. oz.) — Just like a cherry blossom, this delicious new fragrance lifts us out of that winter rut with first signs of a spring in a light, fruity scent of watermelon, blackcurrants and lemon. What I think: This is fresh and sweet, perfect from Valentine’s Day through Summer (or all year round if you wish)!  It is so feminine, but bright as well. LOVE

What I think: I really like this brand.  It’s affordable, but really effective.  It keeps skin clear, plus the fade cream really works in lightening up my dark spots.  The moisturizer softens my skin and blends in well without being heavy or greasy.

La Bella Anti-Sponge Shampoo and Conditioner ($3.99 each USD) —   Fluctuating temperatures and humidity levels as you go back and forth from the cold and damp outside to warm and dry inside can cause unwanted frizz and “puffy” looking hair. What I think:  I suffer from frizzy hair all year, so I love trying something that can help tame it.  Used together, this shampoo and conditioner really helped smooth my hair and it stayed smooth until my next wash!
