Need A Cool New Pair of Eyeglasses? Try Warby Parker’s Corner Collection

Have you heard of Warby Parker?  It’s an eyeglasses and sunglasses company that is extremely cool and affordable.  I wear their glasses, and for the pair I have (Ainsworth in Elderberry), it was $95 for frames and lenses — CRAZY!

A couple of more neat things about Warby Parker: You can choose 5 frames to try on to be mailed to you and then send them back to order the one you love.  And for every pair sold, Warby Parker distributes a pair to someone in need through their non-profit partners.

Their new Corner Collection gets its name from our seasonal preoccupation with silhouettes and angles. Here are a few of my favorites:

Here is a note about the collection from Warby Parker:

This time around, we experimenting with traditional shapes; think crisp keyhole bridges, sloping brow lines, sharp temples, and straight-edged brow bars in a handsome mix of horn-inspired acetate and stainless steel. Our five new frames—Hutton, Topper, Goodney, Teddy, and Quentin—are totally distinctive and a little bit irreverent.

We didn’t forget color, either. Two new hues, Rhubarb and Quartz, round out an intense palette of autumnal and icy shades, terrific for indoorsy cozy times and leaf-crunching rambles alike. (Even when the temps rise again, they’re still good to go.)

My very favorite is the Goodney in Rhubarb ($95 USD).  The shape is a modern cat’s eye and the color is so chic.  But the Topper Crystal ($95 USD) is so cool, too — I wonder what it would look like on? And the Teddy ($145 USD including polarized lenses) in Petal Tortoise is so different!
