My Beauty Favorites — Week of August 15-21, 2016

I have been sick this week with a fever and cold.  I am starting to feel better, but it is a slow process!

But, new beauty products always help!  I have received the following products for my honest review.  They include soothing bath products, natural eyebrow and eyelash growth supplements and a natural foot cream.

What I think: I love treating myself in the shower and bath, especially while I’m sick!  Plus, I have two daughters at home and they use it all, too. These products are affordable and smell so nice!  Plus, they can be repurchased easily, so if you have a daughter (like me) who uses a third a bottle of bubble bath, it’s nice that they are luxurious and affordable.

What I think: As we (I) age, much of my hair gets thinner, including lashes and brows.  Talika creates natural lash and brow growth products.  They are easy to use, just brush the product on with the spoolie applicator.  In about six weeks, lashes and brows get longer and thicker.

What I think: This wonderful foot cream smells and feels amazing on the feet!  It smoothes and softens my feet, and make them look so much better!

Bath Products Review: You Are Amazing and Mayfair Soap Foundry

I always enjoy trying new bath and body products.  I have recently received samples from two brands I haven’t tried before — You Are Amazing and Mayfair Soap Foundry. They are two amazing and affordable brands that you can find at your nearest Target stores!

I tend to love lighter florals and fruity scents for the spring and summer. The products below are perfect for hydrating skin for the warmer weather and they all smell amazing:

What I think: All three of these products smell fresh and natural.  The scrub has very gentle exfoliators and it really smells like fresh coconut water! The mango and papaya scented lotion is very hydrating and sweet-smelling.  I think both of these items are a great deal for the price.

My very favorite of the three was the one I didn’t think I’d like, the Blooming Bouquet mist!  I always think floral is going to be strong, but this is soft and smells like fresh flowers.  I spray all over in the morning and it makes me happy.  LOVE!

What I think: The Grapefruit Bergamot scent is so bright! It is a very gentle sugar scrub.  (Self) tanning season is coming soon and I need to start exfoliating my dry winter skin now! I also really like the big jars both items come in.

I also love the Sea Lily Jasmine scent. It’s almost like a green floral.  The lotion is very fluffy, like whip cream, but it doesn’t rub or soak right in.  It stays on the skin for a while before it is absorbed.  If you are not in a rush in the morning after your shower, or if you want to use it at night, it should work fine.
