I’ve been really loving the CC+ Matte cream. I have it in Light. It’s full coverage foundation that is a comfortable matte. It’s not too drying on my combination skin. I like to apply this with a sponge, rather than a brush so that I can control the amount of coverage I get and how matte it gets. I think the only issue I have is that I probably should have got it in the shade Fair Light. It looks very dark on my skin in natural light even though it looks okay when I apply it indoors. It either is a shade dark or it oxidizes. It doesn’t go orange, thank goodness, but I look very, very tan (for me). So I either make sure I apply it to my face, neck and chest, or I mix it with a lighter foundation. So that’s something to keep in mind.
I use the included brush to set the CC+ cream with the powder. My powder is in the shade Light to match the CC+ Cream. It starts out sheer, but can be built up. I love that both the powder and cream have SPF. I feel so protected when I wear them.
I have to say that I like this more than the original CC+ cream. The original cream is a bit heavy on my skin, but this feels so light on and gives a beautiful soft-matte finish! I love this for summer.
