Have you been experimenting with new lip colors this summer? I have. And I have to say my choices have been pretty bold!
I’m normally a soft pink, coral or nude lip gloss girl. This summer, though, I have been trying brighter colors and lots of lipsticks!
My favorites are below — fun lipsticks by Lipstick Queen that turn a different color on your lips than in the stick, shimmery, pretty lipsticks from Cargo and bright affordable lipsticks and glosses from MUA Makeup Academy.
Lipstick Queen Frog Prince ($25 USD) — Get heads turning with Frog Prince, a remarkable lilypad green lipstick that transforms lips into a pretty rosebud pink. What I think: I was so excited to try both of these and I LOVE them! My favorite is Hello Sailor. It is very moisturizing and leaves a soft berry tint on my lips. It is more like a colored balm, but it lasts a long time. Frog Prince turns my lips a pretty pink and is really fun to use. It is also very hydrating.

Cargo Cosmetics Limited Edition Summer 2015 Gel Lip Colors ($20 USD) — Lightweight, gel texture lipstick glides on like silk. What I think: These are so pretty. The colors are sheer and shimmery. They all look perfect with a tan! My favorite is SOHO a pretty coral. I think it would look great on all skin tones.

What I think: These are all such good quality and are really affordable. I usually don’t wear red, but the lipstick was so hydrating and pretty on! The lip gloss is awesome, I do like a nude, non-sticky lip gloss! And the balm is sheer and perfect for everyday wear, while hydrating lips.

What I think: These are so fun! They are a combo lip balm and stain. The color stays on for a long time and the moisture stays too! The color is sheer, so it’s perfect for everyday.
