It is truly becoming summer-ish in Kansas City! It’s very hot and humid.
I am testing so many fantastic products lately, I have quite a hodgepodge of product picks this week! From amazing home fragrances, to lovely Japanese makeup, to a fun, light up headband to a easy temporal thermometer– my faves may seem random, but I love them all!
Antica Farmacista Damascena Rose, Orris & Oud Diffuser ($26 for 100 ml, $66 for 250 ml and $94 for 500 ml) — An exquisite floral fragrance built on fresh Damascus Rose absolute, sensual Violet and rich Tuscan Orris root. Tart rhubarb and dewy apricot add a hint of lush fruit, while the warmth of rare Oud and Amber lend an exotic earthiness. A soft drydown of musk and cashmere result in an intoxicating warmth to this complex floral scent.
Antica Farmacista Orange Blossom, Lilac & Jasmine Hand Wash ($25 USD) — A gorgeous rendition of a classic orange blossom scent. This bright fragrance begins with captivating citrus notes of mandarin and Sicilian lemon blending beautifully with floral notes of orange blossoms, jasmine and lily-of-the-valley. This floral scent is beautifully balanced and exhilarating.
What I think: Antica Farmacista has some amazing fragrances and products. The Damascena Rose, Orris & Oud scent is new. It is sweetly floral and spicy. The diffuser is quite fragrant and makes my room smell wonderful all day. The Orange Blossom, Lilac & Jasmine is both fresh and floral and once I wash my hands, the aroma lingers.

Koh Gen DoMaifanshi Face Powder ($42 USD) — A finely milled translucent face powder to set a silky flawless finish. What I think: Both of the products are simple and work very well. I love a good finishing powder that sets my makeup and gives a flawless finish, and this one does just that. It goes only translucent and does not settle in my pores or dry out my skin.
I pour a little of the Cleansing Water on a cotton pad and I use it to remove all of my makeup. It doesn’t dry my skin out at all, which I love.
